Not a big deal but locals do pronounce it as "bell fooosh" just like the capital is "peer" not french pierre haha! The red dirt is a ring/layer that goes all around the black hills due to -geology-. Looks like you are having a great time. I'm getting a new Dark Horse Chieftain soon, excited! Stay cool today (thursday). Glad you are enjoying our beautiful area!

I love your state very much. I feel at home here with some very, shall we say, like minded people. Your freedom, your wide open spaces, your amazing Governor. I am throughly enjoying my time here. I will be back. And if I had the money to get a little ranch I would be back to stay! Today's heat was brutal but survived it. Rode from rapid city to wind cave national park, up the Needles and Iron Mountain to Mount Rushmore for the nighttime lighting ceremony. Fun day, drank several a couple gallons of water.
