Great review, one of the best I’ve ever watched. And I’ve watched A LOT. So my question is, Challenger or Chieftain ??? Respectfully

When you talk about handling, you don’t compare it to a BMW. Why is that? No harley or Indian I ever rode can compare to a K1600 BMW or an R1250RT BMW. That would be fair to add them into a comparison.

I'm confused. Isn't that a switched 2 pin connector right there behind the computer just for a heated seat? The one with the green weatherpak seal?

Nice job on the video. I’m in mid-state VT, but travel around the state by bike a lot whenever the snow and mud subside. This past fall seemed like the busiest tourist season ever. I think the influence of social media is luring more visitors from the metro areas to our south than ever before. It used to be just gray hairs in coach buses cruising around on the foliage tours, but now everyone thinks coming to Vermont is cool. I just hope it doesn’t spoil our state any more than it has already.

Is there anything on the newer chieftains i would miss if i vought a used 2018? That ferring is just too sexy.
@MOTOBLADE7 күн бұрын
The newer ride command system is a little nicer and features Apple CarPlay. Outside of that, nothing I would miss! I’ve enjoyed my 2018 thoroughly. Wouldn’t trade it in for a newer one. I may get an Indian Challenger one day and turn the Chieftain into a trike for touring xc with the better half.

Why do they stay in the passing lane? Move over.
@MOTOBLADE15 күн бұрын
@@willyc9278 I’m not a fan of large group test rides. Requiring us to “follow the leader” isn’t always the best or safest. But it’s what they require for us to do test rides with Honda so I only do it once a year to keep you guys up to date with the newest bikes. Harley and Indian just hand us the key fob and say go have fun! I prefer their approaches to the demos a lot more.
@willyc927814 күн бұрын
@@MOTOBLADE Thanks, I get it now. I'd tell the "leader" to observe the law. Keep right, pass left.
@MOTOBLADE12 күн бұрын
@@willyc9278 I agree. Their main concern seems to be keeping everyone together and not leaving room for people to “slingshot” or do other stunts. Although I don’t think the typical gold wing crowd is into that anyway 😂

I have mine since beginning of 2023 and I love it. It corners like no Harley has ever done before. Great engine en great look. The mid controls fit this bike very well. Forward controls is for shoppers. This bike is more a kind of a hooligan bike, a shredder bike. If you want more comfort, you have to buy a Heritage. All those touring accessories kill the looks of this bike. I only had to change to position of handlebar (is too far away) by use of a pull back plate. It is a game changer. 🇧🇪

In Canada, Harley Davidson charges $10000 for the CVO above the Special. $10,000 for spoked wheels, adaptive ride height, and luggage. Oh, and branding... lots and lots of "CVO" branding, so that everyone know you paid thousands of dollars just to have an extra half-dozen HD logos on your motorcycle. The Pan America is a damn fine bike, but the "CVO" edition is a straight up scam.

Honda sets it up to run very lean to pass American & European emissions & high mpg by adding a throttle commanders it really smooths out both downshifts & twitchy feeling just by mapping in a little more fuel really makes a world of difference right out of the box with factory tune on the throttle commander again honda also has to pass very strict european emissions standards & had no choice so id suggest a slip on exhaust with the throttle commander & if your less than 6ft tall maybe 1 inch handlebar risers be safe out there

Worst throttle response of any bike I’ve ever ridden. The lag and delay is ridiculous. The only thing I liked about riding the Sport Chief was the rear brake. I ended up buying a Low Rider S

I’m 15 but i plan on getting a sports bike when i graduate (After all the courses and registration) (Despite my mom’s absolute terror of me even getting on one, and everyone telling me not to) I was looking at some bikes for a first bike, Such as the Ninja 400, Zx4RR, and other bikes. I think the Ninja 650 is absolutely amazing, would you recommend starting on a ninja 400 or maybe the 650? I’m scared i would get bored with a 400, but also scared the 650 would be to powerful or fast for a beginner(me). Love the channel dude ✌🏻
