Hey Luke, Ambition here. It’s been awhile since I did any RTW and honestly forgot about the fact Praetorians beat Companions. I tend to do pretty well against every faction except for Rome so I appreciate the tips. Looking forward to the next. Though seeing as he technically cheated, well I’ll write this one off as a mulligan :p

I locked in when I fought romex. I knew I'd started sloppy, so I definitely turned my focus up later in the battle. I played like a labotomite in the final though. tbf on myself it was 3am where I live. (although my opponent wasn't exactly in top shape either haha). btw I didn't mean to bring 7 archers in the first battle plz forgive!

Was a fun tourney, great idea having these! And man the charge with the archers was like a double mistake as I also was struggling to custom select which units to pike down on due to them being there. WP to all.

I think another thing to take away for newer players is that you don’t need to rush headlong into engagements. Too many times people just ran it forward and got isolated. Attacking (especially with rush comps that have fewer archers) is fine, but doing so recklessly is always going to be losing.

@lukeinvictus I get that now. I am hoping to do more battles in the future. Also, how important are armor upgrades in medieval 2?

@@davidspackman7534 I’m not really an expert in med 2 but I can say that upgrades are far less important than they are on Rome
