I mean Juz has played soooo many SMW romhacks with a variety of difficulties, old & new mechanics, and trollage. One would have to be very dedicated to find comparisons and contrasts between all the romhacks he has played then and now. Simple yet convoluted mechanics in these two. Having multiple incremental level-readings and quick-thinking brain power may counteract the limited time slot at GDQ.

I hope GDQ does like 2-3 deaths per player. One death and switch is difficult to watch and probably pretty hard to get a rhythm to play.

I knew the mechanic was seen before, but I didn’t notice anything particularly familiar about the level until around the part that Juz remembered. I remember some of the number blocks…but yeah it’s not much there for me either

I've never gone to a GDQ or a similar event but I recently moved to Minneapolis and I'd really like to meet some people I've been following for years. Is there any kind of meet and greet or happy hour or something?

Unfortunately the best way is to buy a ticket and attend the event since you won’t be able to enter the event space without it and that’s where everyone is. It can be quite a chaotic place 😅

Crash was not a game I took a nosedive for as a kid because after a few levels that shit gets too stressful or difficult..now as an adult I’m attempting and you’re right, if the nostalgic moment isn’t there, you can’t get into the game itself..🤝🏼🤝🏼😎😎

I wanted to beat crash so bad as a kid and my patience with the fact that I was one of the raging gamers who broke countless controllers, I wasn’t gonna put up with stressin out like that..now that I see everyone playing Kaizo, I’m like man what I was getting mad about is child’s play 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣
