Excellent Alan. If our beloved BBC had made this there would have been a film and sound crew of 8-10 and post production and editorial credits running for 2 minutes. You did it alone and better. No politics, no climate terror, no cultural interpretation. Stunning production. You should be very proud of yersen. The dogs enjoyed it too. Well done mate.

This film should win awards. The photography, the drone and editing and the score was so professional. Your personality leaps off the screen before you have spoken a word. Trusty Blue leading the way for his leader as you both run up and down mountains, Alan you just keep filming and navigating your technical decisions at the same time The bluegrass Ry Cooder style music Alan, was perfect for the beginning of this endeavour, then as the mountain emerges from the mists you converted to the more atmospheric classical music to match the grandeur of the scenery that surrounded you and Blue. I could go on and on giving glowing opinions as I was so impressed. The sunset was sublime and the views were simply stunning . You even invented a new sport, Scree Racing! Congratulations Alan, you are a legend.

@@BUSHMANandBLUE You are absolutely right of course! Though I was seated watching you do the 'sharp edge' climb, great video footage made it like being there with you and a couple of times I actually got funny feelings in my legs when you panned down and showed the height and drop immediatley below, whilst holding on with one hand, camera in the other! (I'd have been stuck to those rocks like a limpet aha!) not for the inexperienced or feint hearted that one! And your Dad is an amazing character at 81, climbing up those trees like a kid! It reminded me of being a kid, bird-nesting (among other outdoorsy things), we'd climb tree's with no thought of how we'd get down again, but you do, whatever you are doing in the outdoors, you always find a way. And Bluey, the multi-tasking/faceted dog (companion, sheepdog, husky, mountain goat) and, last but not least, some great trips with your fabulous partner Nicola; what more could anyone want....life is indeed good :)

Wonderful video! I had to pause it a few times just to enjoy the view. You may not have had the most elegant food in your "restaurant", but you certainly had the best seat in the house. I think sometimes about people who have all the money a human being can have, and meanwhile you are the only person in the world with that stunning view. You hear about people "who have it all", but I wonder if the memories they are creating are equal to yours.

6kg! My food and water normally weigh more than that. Tea, supper and breakfast plus I drink a lot of water although the Sawyer water filter (to those who don’t know, a link in your description 👍) is a game changer 👍 Epic video Al. Your drone footage is something on another level, I could watch it all day 🙏

Top man top dog, top fitness. I remember many years ago coming down that very scree with my Dad and him saying to be careful...just as I went head over heels and broke my wrist, long way back with with a broken wrist and a bollocking off my Dad!. Anyway not sure I would actually make it up great gable now but watching you smash it is nearly as good. As you always say, keep making the memories. Thanks for a truly awesome video
