I think there was a reason Oddy didn’t respond after Eury’s confession. It’s because he genuinely wasn’t mad. At least, not at this point. He didn’t care that Eury betrayed him now because he knew it made no difference. Eury and the crew betrayed him then and he was betraying them now. There was no reason to be mad. They were even.

I also think Odysseus already knew about it being him. In puppeteer it sounded like he wanted to confess to it but was stopped. Odysseus didn't need him to confess because he already knew he did it

@@mado-wh4jv I'm not saying she reads minds. She doesn't, obviously. I'm saying that some of the lines that she sings refer to both Odysseus and Eurylochus.

@@benjaminericnewell5705 In a literal sense, if we were assume that everything that is sang is happening, we could agree that Scylla saying that would be mostly addressed to Odysseus since she can't know before hand about their personal dramas, but she can know that people that goes through her have little concerned for their crew.

Scylla is a nymph turned into a monster. Odysseus is going to what is called Sea of monsters. There are two monsters there which makes it impossible to pass. Caribdis a sea monster big enough to gulp boats and Scylla, sometimes represented as a monster with many heads that is above in the sky and her heads sink taking sailors from boats to eat. At least that is what I remember from them but it being years since I last read stories of those two. I don't know how they are represented in the original story since I didn't read Odyssey yet

@@deinsilverdrac8695 Odysseus is going through Scylla’s domain (whether or not Charybdis is included in the musical is not known), though in order to get through safely he knowingly sacrifices the lives of six men (hence the six torches being lit, directing her who she can kill), the six men die and they make it out of Scylla’s lair, which leads to Mutiny.

About that. The livestream had a full animatic for this song and it showed that Eury was holding one of the six torches. Ody did intend to sacrifice him as revenge for opening the bag, but in the chaos of Scylla's attack, Eurylochus dropped the torch and another soldier picked it up, unintentionally becoming the sacrifice instead.
