No offense, but Hermes sounds extremely fruity

Interesting, the new version seems much more gentle, like a lullaby (in the first half at least), very fitting for an infant… It’s deeply sad and emotional in a very heartbreaking way. More mournful. Meanwhile the original sounds more anguished, intense, less polished, especially with the voice cracks. More expressive of the horror at his own monstrosity. I honestly love both versions, can’t pick one over the other!! It’s just fun to observe.

I love how the Chorus proclaims each god when they show up, and how it changes the mood. The tone and repeated chant of Posiedon's name just adds such a feeling of power and dread, even before Odysseus' voice comes in with such fear.
