Are the bow tip (the black part) replacable? Such a bow design make the boat very fragile on rock that a paddler cannot see.

Hi Robert, Thanks for the comment. Freya Hoffmeister paddled and 18X around Australia including a crossing of the Gulf of Carpentaria. 7 days at sea!! Says a lot about the 18X.
