Search the load carrying capacity of Chinese trucks & see how badly they are abused. Also most of the puller trucks in India which pulls above 100 tones are either Volvo or Scania.

@@creatorAI1698 Have you ever talked to any Volvo bus driver? I have travelled in Volvo buses many times and prefer them over any normal bus. Volvo is the main reason for innovation in Indian tours & travels business. Take a ride in Scania Volvo buses once and then you will realise why they cost in Croes. Their drivers always say that once they get into Volvo, Scania buses they can't get back to normal buses easily. Also after BS6 emissions norms local manufacturer Buses & Trucks got very overpriced.

@@Flyingfortress_b-17 Not quite. The current T-cab Scanias are a Scania approved customization done by Vlastuin in Holland (or is it the Netherlands?). They take a brand new cab-over Scania, move the cab back and fabricate and fit the bonnet (hood). As far as I am aware, they are only made to order. Bruce Wilson is an American KZbinr who is a huge fan of Scania and has imported 2 or 3 cab-overs to the U.S. for his channel.

One thing that is to be noted that India has very different climate and topographic conditions, temperature range from -40 degree to +55 degree and roads not uniform across the country, the way Indians drivers drive. All these things are to be kept in mind to manufacture trucks in a very low and affordable costs.

Why do you barely mention the usual drive axles used by trucks?🤔 That's literally one of the only good things about Chinese trucks. They use hub reduction axles MUCH more frequently than the trucks from other countries, hence why they're often seen hauling overloads x3 to x4 of their listed capacity.

We have very selected brands of trucks working in India but yes TATA leads them all. To be able to be at the place where we can possibly compare them(Please note European and American Brands are way ahead of us) is a great gesture, but slowly and steadily we are improving with emission norms and Reliability but we have a long way to go, gradually the focus on Driver comfort and Interior experience is improving in Indian Trucks as well, please keep this in mind we will never be able to reach the level you guys have reached but we are taking small step such as a company call Rhino ILTP which makes Electric trucks in India and have established themselves in the country, TATA, Ashok Leyland, BharatBenz(Subsidiary of Daimler), Mahindra, etc are some of the companies who are established in India and are slowly moving from Combustion engine to Environment friendly energy Option, Thank you TRUCK TROPIA for considering an Indian Brand in this list😊

I am owner driver i have 3 scanias a 770s a 680s and a500 r . They may cost more but comfort efficient fantastic to drive and loads of safty and really good on fuel my 500r is going in 5 weeks and is being replaced with brand new 730s and in 2025 my 680s will be replaced for another 770 s

But the bigger blocks are JV with Cummins. They shelved their 5.7L V6 engines long time back. Now they only make 3L, 3.3L, 3.8L and 5.0L Turbotrons (erstwhile DiCOR) but only on Starbus and Ultra series medium and light trucks. Their Prima, Signa and their MarcoPolo buses use Cummins 5.9L and 6.7L engines

Not sure u lived in India if you say they use Scania or Volvo. The only common trucks that are seen are Tata LPT or Ashok Leyland. Not even their modern Prima or Signa range. Because decision makers in India are not truckers but their bosses. They look at affordability and quick serviceability.

Scannia is the king in terms of engine technology, comfort, fuel economy, driver assistance system, safety features, connectivity and low service needs. It can be run in any country due to its short hood while the Peterbilt are limited to USA and Australia because of the long hood. Scannias are expensive and you have to pay for quality.

@@TruckTropia Because they are often used to ship heavy loads, which is more economical than using 2 or 3 smaller trucks to ship the same load. They have also always been rivals (from opposite sides of Sweden).

For olmost 2 decades being a truck driver sinces my ealy ages of 20th, i've drives fews brands and models. From my own experiances, MAN, VOLVO, MERCEDES, HINO, SCANIA, FUSO AND SINOTRUCK. I've over 10 years driving volvo and fews years for somes brands like MAN, SCANIA, HINO AND SINOTRUCK, FOR PETERBLIT IS ONLY HAVE ON AMERICA CONTINENT WERE US IS THE MAINLY PETERBLIT BEING USED ALONG CANADIANS AND MEXICANS DRIVERS. I LOVE VOLVO MUCH MORE THEN OTHERS BRANDS. BUT I'm olso loves mercedes, man and scania due high power, man truck is the strongest and i've tow 104tons of load with man. But sinotruck olso good even cabin have a bit noise. Volvo is the best, strong, reliable, heavy duty and more comforts.
