This was the best way to start the weekend! Thank you Ned and Mark, for sharing your wonderful trip, and now the lovely items you bought and made. Those bags you made are amazing! Ned, don't you knit? I feel you would do amazing knitting lace work and cables. And please, be around in the videos more often, it is so lovely to see you two sharing your life and your passion for crafting and everything related to that. Looking forward to see more videos about your trip and off course the yarns you bought!!

I had such a lovely time watching your podcast. I just found you today. I too am from Ohio, born and raised in Columbus. My husband and I own a home in a quiet little town called Mount Sterling, southwest of Columbus. Much quieter and peaceful. I’m a multi-crafter but my favorite is crocheting followed by knitting. I’m typically a utilitarian crocheter and knitter, I mostly make hats and scarves for the homeless veterans. But I also like making throws and slippers as well as wash cloths and hot pads. Very basic but I still enjoy it along with my many other crafts. I look forward to seeing your next video. Take care and may God Bless you both. Sherry

Hello. I’m a new watcher but am very glad to have found your podcast. I also live in Cleveland and enjoy your stories, travels and insights. I’m working back through older videos a little at a time. Here you noted that you often don’t know what to do with the enamel pins but you love them. I love them too. I have a large cork board in my yarn/craft room. I use the enamel pins as push pins. A great way to tack swatches, patterns and other inspirations to my board.

Thank you for showing all the beautiful items. I've wanted to visit Shetland for a long time and your videos have emphasized this even more, so I'll be planning a trip for next year. Much love to you both. Xx

Thank you for sharing all the treasures you brought home with you! It is so nice to see that you also brought gifts for your friends. When on holiday Ialso love to buy postcards and tea towels I make project bags from the tea towels, so when I am knitting or chrocheting I can go back in my mind to the place and time when I bought that tea towel. In October I will visit London and Bath and I will visit the Knitting and Stiching show in Alexandra Palace. Looking forward to it and maybe I will find some of the notions you showed overthere. Greetings from Amsterdam. Marian

Oh my gosh, that bag of Jamieson’s yarns brought back some great and fun memories! That wall of yarn! I understand about the crossed eyes! I still cherish my yarns from there and I was there in 2019. What lovely treasures. I’m going to Scotland next summer and definitely have added a couple of places to stop at with our friends. I’m sure my friend will enjoy doing that bag workshop with the lovely tweed, and so will I! Thanks for sharing and can’t wait to see what jumpers you will be casting all that lovely yarn!

I enjoyed this video very much. What lucky friends you have too. Occasionally I make 3 sizes of zippered pouches using my embroidery machine and my knitting friends love them. They also work great as substitutes for a normal wallet.

What a wonderful assortment of ‘wonderful’ items! It’s almost overwhelming, like 3 Christmases and birthdays rolled into one, an abundance of memories. And oh, I can’t wait for the whoosh of the vacuum sealed bag of Jamieson’s opening up. Three hours of crossed eyes: I can imagine the brain strain planning colour combos. This was a fun video to watch.

I've only just discovered your channel but am heading to the back catalogue! Thoroughly enjoying the music chat as well as the knitting. You've been visiting some of my favourite places. My daughter studied at Durham where she had a choral scholarship and frequently sang at the wonderful cathedral. I went to Leipzig in June during the Bach Festival and was lucky enough to attend the opening concert at the Thomaskirche and also picked up souvenirs at the shop in the Bach Museum. I'm a Londoner and a slave to the cats!

Dear Ned and Mark, thank you for this video! I enjoy to see you and hear your voices, thoughts, plans, knitting related ideas and your family stuff 🫶 Well, I'm from Germany so please allow this short, maybe helpfull comment: it is a bear. He is here well known as the "Berliner Bär" 😊 The green "walking" traffic figures, so as i know, are more located in Berlin and surroundings- this signs where used ins the eastern part of Germany during the time when Eastgermany and Westgermany was seperated from each other... But from time to time to find in other parts of our country. I' m curious seeing more from you both 🥰 Lovely greetings, Britta

Loving the podcast! I especially enjoy it when you podcast together. We must turn Nate into a knitter somehow...or maybe a sewist so he could make you lots of bags Mark?
