Epic Vancouver Island Overland | Camping on the Beach

In part 2 of our Vancouver Island overland adventure, we head to a remote region in the far north to find some wild camping on the beach. When we get there, the once small river crossing is a raging river from the recent rains. We are able to get the 4x4 Sprinter along the side of the creek and find a beautiful spot. The first day is pretty rainy, but the next day dries out and allows for some fun exploring on the beach.

Awesome Video and nice rig. I'm headed to the island this summer. Any chance I could get more information about this site? I'm having trouble finding off grid camping. Are most of these spots off of logging routes? Any help would be appreciated!

Hey Adrian! You’re gonna love the island! It’s so beautiful. All of the places we camped were off of logging routes, and most on the island are. The best information we found was on Campendium. They have all the rec and dispersed sites marked. This one was on the Northwest side of the island. Have fun!

@@AdventureOutThere Possibly "marked diesel" Used on farms and fishing boats I think. They just add a colourant. Different ie, lower, tax rate.
