That was great find and deal man. In Cleveland even when I ask about video game stuff at garage sales, it is very rare to find such collection with so much stuff. Almost all resellers ask about video game stuff at all sales, so if I ever find it, I am very happy 😆 Nowadays some resellers ask people who advertise garage sales on facebook by looking at garage sale ad photos if they can just buy it all before that stuff even gets to the sale, which I also do. Its always good to ask 👍

I used to kill it on video games over the years. Now everyone is looking for it. I probably hear 50 Nos before I hear one yes. The competition is tougher and tougher these days.

He was only asking $10 for the Sega genesis and games. I offered $200 before I did a deep dive into it. When watching it back, it was a low ball offer. It’s different sometimes when you are in the heat of the moment making offers. This was before we broke everything down to see the value of it. I did talk to them later on and told them that I would pay up for the rest of the stuff but the son wasn’t ready sell it yet.

@@pickingandpunching I hear you buddy. It was a solid offer considering he only wanted $10 for the Sega Genesis. I saw the Pokemon DS games and other games knowing the total value was well over $1000 for everything. I got a massive lot last year for $2k that I flipped fast for $7k so I know how well Pokemon DS games, gameboy games, anything SNES or N64 and the vintage games we grew up with go for. Always good to ask and it paid off. Good job!

Unless I am tried out, I always ask. My things are comics, motorcycle mags and repair manuals. 1 in 100 results in a find but that's better than zero.

The power of the ask goes along way. That 1 of out of 100 times could be a homerun. I got 5 long boxes last year from an asked. I ended up finding a couple Planet Comics from 1959. They are currently at CGC getting graded. The worst part is I wasn't filming that day. I was only going to the store to grab eggs because we ran out and I found a random garage sale.

I haven’t read as much as I would like. Some of those books are HUGE. When i read Insomnia, it was just shy of 700 pages. I do collect horror items. I have almost seen all of his movies as well.
