This is the game Randall Cunningham got his chance with the Vikings and ended having a phenomenal season. Always had all the talent as a thrower, got given a chance to play in a great offensive system and also was a lot more mature himself at this point and really shown how good he could have been

Crazy how far the kicking game has come in the NFL. Jeff Wilkins makes a 53 yard FG in a DOME and the announcers are shocked, turns out it was a career long. In the modern NFL those are expected to be made every time (Will Reichard missed a 52 yarder against Detroit in Week 18 this year and caught hate for it)

Ironically 1 yard short was what got the Rams their first Super Bowl the following year. What a game this was. However the Vikings blew an opportunity at a Super Bowl that year. Bad luck and a questionable defense robbed the Vikings in 1998.
