No other band could have this name, simple as that. If you want to see them play with full orchestra, full male and female choir, then do Epica - Unleashed Live at Retrospect next;) Also, Simones voice in that performance is absolutely goosebump inducing.

So you listened to Epica earlier and then stopped? That's a crime! :) You can listen to whole Epica albums and not get bored. This is actually one of the very few bands that are so good. No filler songs, no generic metal. Of course it helps if you already know the songs. Human brain likes familiarity, so you will enjoy Epica more if you listen to their songs multiple times. If you stopped listening to them in 2008/09, you may have heard "Design Your Universe" album, it's one of their best, though Epica doesn't havy any poor album. In 2012 Requiem for the Indifferent came out. It's not as popular among Epicans but I absolutely love it. Then in 2014 a masterpiece "The Quantum Enigma" and in 2016 "The Holographic Principle" were released. Those albums are just mindblowing. You missed a lot of incredible music! And the newest one from 2021, album "Omega". That's the one with "Kingdom of Heaven part 3" on it. Yes, we definitely want to hear more Epica :) Do you want to react to their most famous songs? Or would you like songs that almost no one else reacts to? Just to make your content slightly different? I'm a hardcore Epican, I can give you multiple suggestions.

Coen Janssen's portable keyboard is a commercially available REVO-1 Curveboard, made by a company called NuMotion in Montreal, Canada. EPICA's entire set from last months Hellfest festival in France is on KZbin, as is the entire Nightwish set.

If you want to see Epica with a full orchestra try anything from the Retrospect show. Chasing the Dragon, Design Your Universe, The Divine Conspiracy, Unleashed, The Obsessive Devotion... the whole show is a must see but these are some of the highlights of it imo you can find them on YT. And obviously try Kingdom of Heaven Part1 you won't regret it (unfortunately no live full orchestra version for this song)

I totally agree. Don't forget that Floor Jansen from Nightwish sings with them on 2 of the songs in the set: Sancta Terra and Stabat Mater Dolorosa - just icing on the cake!

Epica with a full choir and orchestra you say? Whoa, be careful what you wish for! Their 10th Anniversary Retrospect concert will fit your bill.
