Great reaction. My favorite song from the EP. This song is inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen tale of the Little Mermaid. Reading the lyrics Simone, Charlotte and Amalie Bruun of Myrkur are the Little Mermaids' sisters trying to remind her of her home and encouraging her to take a dagger and kill the Prince In the original tale the Little Mermaid is heartbroken that the Prince is going to marry another and when it happens she will turn into sea foam and disappear. Her sister's appear and give her a dagger to kill the Prince and regain her mermaid tail and be able to return to the sea and live out her life as a mermaid with them. In the story she is unable to kill the Prince and throws herself into the sea where she instead of turning to foam she turns into a luminous and ethereal spirit. The twist here as you can tell from the video is that Little Mermaid does kill the Prince and returns to the sea to be with her sisters.
