The yellow and blue eyes is part of the story of this new ride in de Efteling. That story is also further enhanced by a whole children’s book that has just been published by a well known Dutch author, Paul van Loon. I think he wrote a few other books that tie in with certain parts of de Efteling.

Another interesting tidbit from this video. Her white dress, which you see in some clips, is a nod to the dress worn by Kate Bush who opened the original attraction at Efteling that Danse Macabre has replaced.

The neon yellow instruments is a nod to the original yellow violin in the original attraction. And loads of stuff is reused in the new ride. They had to rebuild it due to it becoming a safety problem. The white dress is a nod to Kate bush who sang at the spooks lot opening. The yellow and blue is the unknown and the cat is also taken by the unknown.

The keyboard is revo-1 curveboard from NuMotion, a Canadian company. Coen uses it in a number of live videos including Victims of Contingency and Kingdom of Heaven part 3 from Omega Alive, their livestream from 2021.

You are looking for the “Pied Piper of Hamlin” fairytale. The song goes with the Danse Macabre attraction which opened op October 31th and replaced the old Haunted Castle. It has an original backstory. The yellow and blue eyes in the backstory belongs to the big evil entity of Danse Macabre. The cat is also a version of that entity. The song is about seducing and trapping children in the abbey to add a children’s choir to the orchestra of Joseph Charlatan.

Simone has a lens in her right eye which makes it look yellow, like a cat’s eye, whilst the other is blue. Not sure if there is any other significance.

Part of the lore of the ride is that an orchestra and conductor disappeared during a music competition in 1876 (Oct. 13th -Friday) in the Abbey of Kaatsheuvel (the place Efteling is located), which is the building that composes the ride. While waiting in line you find out that the orchestra was killed by the Het Onnoembare' (The Unnamable), a shape shifting monster. It typically assumes the form of a black kitten with one blue and one yellow eye so as to not alarm people. At the entrance to the ride there is an animatronic black kitten with the mismatched eyes. Simone having the same mismatched eyes means she is the Het Onnoembare luring the kids into the Abbey to their demise.
