Did I direct you to his post-concert video in which he talked abt the whole amazing experience, especially the way the Dutchies went abt rehearsing this mega-production? We were at the AFAS concert and the 💣 that went off at the start made ppl check if the back wall of the venue was still intact 😂

Epica was asked to reimagine the already existing musical piece Danse Macabre by the second most visited themepark in Europe called Efteling. Efteling asked them to do this for the opening of their new dark ride also called Danse Macabre. So Epica just added the Ghost In Me Title. The title of the song should be written as the The Ghost In Me (Danse Macabre) as Danse Macabre was the original already existing musical piece. So it is not a cover of this musical piece as that had no sung lyrics. It is a complete reimagination of the musical piece Danse Macabre for the opening of the dark ride in themepark Efteling also called Danse Macabre. The dark ride Dance Macabre has a newly invented dynamic motion system no other themepark in the world has so it is a totally unique ride. The dark ride Dance Macabre is literally a Dance with the dead. It is about an entire choir that went missing one by one. They were taken by the entity called the Unname-able which is represented as a cat with 2 different colours eyes. That is why the singer of Epica wore 2 different coloured eye contact lenses in the videoclip of dark ride Dance Macabre. She also wore a white dress as tribute to famous singe Kate Bush who did a videoclip for themepark Efteling in the 70's. The haunted abbey Dance Macabre cost 35 million euros to build. Efteling themepark in The Netherlands has been called the darker version of Disney by Americans who visited this themepark. Does Efteling have the biggest drops or the fastest rides no Efteling are storytellers who dont sugarcoat the darker fairytales like Disney does and their rides have excellenr theming. Efteling opened in 1952, 3 years before Disney opened their park in 1955. Efteling is a themepark with rollercoasters, dualing roalercoasters and some of the best dark rides in the world. One ride is a dark themed ride, a rollercoaster and a boat all-in-one. The first ever Madhouse was built in Efteling. Other themeparks copied ideas from Efteling like the first ever Madhouse and talking trash bins that say throw your paper in here. Efteling is a fantasy themed themepark filled with fairies, goblins, the people of Laaf and is twice as big as Disneyland in the US. Efteling has one of the best entrances in the world which looks like something out of Lord of The Rings or Harry Potter. There are lots of vlogs from English people and Americans on KZbin who visited Efteling.

their latest production is very cool, I like that they show a lot and up close the faces of the musicians, instruments, faces and emotions of the audience, it's very cool, because this concert is not only the merit of the band members 👍 I wonder which of the concerts they will release in full on DVD? After all, the concert in Mexico City, which was the last one, was even larger, in a hall for 10 thousand people. But in any case, we are really looking forward to any of these concerts in good quality IN FULL. Thanks for the reaction 😌

The young boy that Simone poked is Coen’s son, he was also one of the two children in the music video.

I was there 🙂 I hope they also release "Tides of Time", which is Simone's most technically difficult and impressive vocal part. You may know the YT channel The Charistmatic Voice, which labelled "Tides of Time" as possibly the best ever ballad. Sadly, the song was not included in the "Retrospect" show in 2013, nor in the Omega Alive project in 2021, so it was incredibly fortunate that it became part of "Symphonic Synergy". I think it's the only time this song has been perfomed in a way that was professionally filmed and recorded. Here's hoping it pops up on their YT channel.
