It is really nice that you still connected with the fans, I really liked your Job in these early 2 albums. I find the drumming to be good and balanced. Just a Question what does this song mean? I searched and couldn't find commentary from the band. I have a degree in history and I find the title a bit problematic Can you clear it for me?

@@starcapture3040 it's about the crusades and the spreading of christianity and its beliefs around the "new world". Even though a great part of the dissemination of christianity was forced, the original beliefs would stay with the people but, unfortunately, hidden. The repercussions were mostly violent. So crusaders can't force themselves upon them and never will because they dig too many graves already and now, the natives lost too much to let themselves keep being killed. The crusaders would go and tell the natives for them to not be afraid and to trust them, for the Christian god would save their souls. But the crusaders themselves also wanted to be honored or they would do the "God's job" and make the natives do it anyway. So they were never trustable and their god seems to not care after all. Hypocrisy. They ched the natives blood for their own purposes, they caused death and horror and until now, that wasn't forgotten in history. There's the generational trauma keeping it pretty much alive and we watch as more and more crimes are coming into the surface and more and more people are asking for justice. And that seems to be the very last "crusade": putting christianity where it really belongs, the christian hell. (unfortunately, they still have the courage to show their faces... 🙄) Magna culpa nostra poena danda nobus usque ad finem dierum ad finem temporum : (for our big mistakes) we will pay until the end of time. @@starcapture3040 it's deffinetly about readical religions. Dying for religion etc etc. If you search old interviews, you may find some info. A lot of their earlier stuff from Epica deal with organized religion and the ugly side of it. They started shifting themes later on.

Época em que Epica era boa banda. As canções tinham foco e profunfeza. Ô sdds! Simone era uma perfeição de mulher, quanto na voz quanto na beleza natural. Não precisava ter notas perfeitas pra encantar e nem de maquiagens em excesso pra atrair olhares. Tempos bons q não volta mais 💔

@@berenicemendozarivera7799 Gosto não se discute, isso q nos torna diferentes. Mesmo q muitos fãs ainda goste deles atualmente, (em especial da Simone) já eu prefiro eles no início. As canções deles eram mais profundas, hoje já não sinto nada de especial. Outra coisa, em nenhum minuto disse q a Simone não está bonita pra idade dela. Basta ela mesma acreditar nisso. Acho q uma mulher q está realmente segura da sua aparência, não precisaria exagerar na maquiagem. Mesmo usando cores discretas, ainda assim é uma Make pesada q nem se pode ver a própria pele. Acredito q se ela aceitasse mais os seus "defeitos", ela nem precisaria ganhar dinheiro com maquiagens. Ela é sim uma mulher linda, mas está escondendo demais a beleza natural e fica com esse rosto de manequim ambulante, completamente desnecessário. Em relação a qualquer artista, sou muito pé no chão. Não faço questão de idolatrar ninguém, até porque somos todos humanos, só q com destinos diferentes. 😉
