How long do you think it would take to make the full armor, jet pack from the mandalorian and boba helmet with no paint.

Well, that's a tough one to pin down @Cookingfromzer0! The time it takes to make the entire armor + Jetpack out of cardboard can vary depending on a bunch of factors. Are you a seasoned craft whiz or just starting out? Do you have all the right tools handy? How many hours of your day can you dedicate to the build? With all these things considered, it could take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks. I've seen some folks pull it off in about a week, at the end of the day it really depends on the dedication and the time you can spent working on it.

The purpose allow you to get the right shape out of the pieces that are otherwise flat, without these you wouldn't be able to get the shape of the helmet right ;) you can see that in the tutorial video. Don't forget to follow the instruction from the tutorial btw the templates are very important of course but they are like tools, the instructions I give in the tutorial is the main thing to follow for you to be able to do the build the right way ;)

Well cardboard is not a good material when it comes to that part unfortunately... so you have to be aware that painting it is gonna make all the imperfections much more visible, and it may end up to look a little bit like a craft made by a young child to a certain extent... (That's the reason why I don't paint them), that being said I'm quite demanding with my props, maybe too much lol. But if you want to paint it I recommend you to use acrylic paint as it is a thick and opaque type of paint as opposed to water based paint that will soak the cardboard leading to very poor result 😉

i made the shoulder part. but how are we supposed to put it on? Because the whole is a very tight squeeze. Even if I somehow put it on (which seems unlikely), pulling it off will be even harder

That can vary depending on your body type indeed, if your head doesn't fit just adapt the hole make it a bit larger by cutting and removing parts on the sides. Don't forget that I make these build for everyone to make and everyone is different... so sometimes you have to be a bit creative so that you can make things works 🙂

Dans le dossier des modèles que tu télécharges pour le casque depuis ma boutique, il y a un fichier texte nommé "Read Me" qui explique comment le faire :) C'est un simple calcul qui te donne le pourcentage correct pour imprimer le casque. Et ce pourcentage s'applique également à l'armure.

Creating these templates is in fact the actual build like 70% of the job, the tutorial videos are just the tip of the iceberg where I show you how to assemble the pieces. No problems Mega Mandros, In the folder templates there is a text file that explains how to do it. Basically to do so you just have to divide the circumference of your head (above the eyes) by mine which is 23 inches, that's gonna give you a decimal number like 0,86 for instance, and that is the percentage you have to print the templates out from your computer to make it a perfect fit for your head, in this example you would have to print them out at 86% of the original size 😉
