Made me cry, such a beautiful family. We as children lived on the land and lived a simple life. I'm the eldest and have allways lived a simple life. Allways wandered over Australia and still do. But on my own again since dad passed at 96. Miss him and mum whome was such an awsome gifted in many thing lady. Today's world of my 3 children is throw away and I only see out in the stick such wonderful lives lived together in laughter and harmony ❤️

When driving through inclement weather, whenever it is safe I will use a turn out to let those behind me travel at their preferred speed. They really seem to appreciate it. Oh that was a doozy…filled with all kinds of tears - of joy and sorrow and all the sweetness between. Thanks for sharing with us and helping us reflect on our own lives too. My fav quote (by Melodie Beattie) seems to be one you all have a vision to embody in your lives: “Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.“ Both our Moms died from cancer - I weep with you as I know the feeling of finding cards, letters, photos we gave them. Growing up I had the privilege to be a part of a large “missional” family - which is spread far and wide. So I loved watching the reunion / 60th celebration. Music so much the centre.🙏💕🙏 The longer I live, the closer heaven feels and loved ones who have passed on feel not as far away somehow. Thanks for modeling values - parenting, family life - to those of us just a few years behind you. All the best to you and yours as the welcome widens in the coming years!

The walleye fishing in Ontario is second to none. We make at least one trip a year to our favorite resort just outside of a little town called Mine Center. Waiting for the day when I can just drive all these logging roads and hit lake after lake.

That reunion was touching. 15 kids and each kid had on average 6 kids...wow! It kind of choked me up. What a legacy they created!
