the effect will be the same, you will have to use a saw instead of an x acto knife, and the sanding will take more effort

I really enjoyed this vid, it was awesome! I've noticed to over the years you've gotten better with techniques, intricate pieces, and even better durability. I agree, you should make a deadric bow. Get a traditional bow, then build on it with either clay, paper mache, or foam board. I'm definitely going to look into doing it. Keep up the good work!

I have to say that since I've subscribed to your channel I've enjoyed the projects you do. They're always very interesting. Skyrim borrowed quiet a few of the weapons designs and architecture from Scandinavian culture and it shows in the shapes of things like the blades and pommels of the swords. Very nicely done.

another idea for the wirey twist around the handle, use hockey tape. Take a long enough strip for as many wraps around the handle as you would like, (you might have to play around with it a little) and then twist the strip of tape making it into a rope of tape.
