The Taylor is a GS5 model - its an older model I bought years ago and I dont think Taylor makes that exact one anymore, but u can probably find them on the used markets like on reverb or ebay. The guitar has a cedar top - which in my opinion is very warm sounding - it doesnt project as much as spruce, but I like the warmth. Its a great guitar. Thank you so much for all the info…I love the sound of your Taylor. It’s amazing. I just recently started playing again but I always knew I could learn to play and it’s been exploding out of me.. I’m definitely going to look for a used GS5… since I moved from Texas to SC my guitar strings vibrate and ring extra long. It interferes with the sound. I know humidity can do slot to an instrument. I guess I need to get a professional setup. I’ll definitely check out your other channel and all the content on lessons. Much appreciated brother. I honestly wasn’t sure at 53 I could relearn to play, because about 5 years ago, I was in a really bad auto accident severe head injuries and 20+ broken bones, it truly made me forget how to do a lot of things .But I’m surprising myself at how far I’ve come in a very short time. You helped me a lot and I sincerely appreciate it…
