Maybe a month ago I was sleeping. It was like a dream, I sensed something supernatural and I was roaming the rooms searching for it into the dream. Then in a room I saw a shape nothing like human or any creature I have ever seen and it wasn't even a dark shape. It was something like hollow that we see in movies getting disappeared but u can see it's existence. At first look it was stable, like it didn't want me to detect it. But when I detected it eye to eye and realized it's existence I couldn't feel the floor under my feet, I was levitating in the air and couldn't move a muscle. Then I started reciting with all my energy "La hawla w'ala Quwwata illa billah". Right that moment I woke up from sleep and thanked Allah for listening to my prayers. Alhamdulillah.

Happened to few days back. Don't remember exactly what happened but it was kinda bad dream from which I wanted to wake up.... I tried to move my body(sleep paralysis) but couldn't I said something like ayatul kursi or something then suddenly the nightmare stopped and relaxed, all I could remember is I went back to sleep. it's called sleep paralysis, many people experience it, usually you can't move either and you see things like monsters and stuff, it happened to me many times, it's a stage between being awake and asleep, your body is asleep but your brain is active it, you can read more about it

@@od8163 Yes I converted to Islam. I was at Qur'an School in Saudi Arabia, and my darling Ethiopian maid was on holiday so I had a temp. Indonesian maid whom I treated very well. This Indonesian girl pretended to be Muslim. Soon after her arrival in the home things turned sour all round and I suffered rapidly declining health and could no longer study Qur'an. One day I found voodoo dolls made with strips cut from the bottom of my net curtains, filled with tiny scraps cut out of all my clothes, and hair she had cut from my daughters while they slept and dirty articles from the bathroom bins. Soon after I had major surgery, was ill for 6 months. Couldn't learn any Qur'an. Had to give up classes. Still cannot memorise the surahs from that dreadful time.

Black Magic 2:102 In this verse, the two names Harut & Marud are mentioned. Are they? Angels or Human Shaitans, There is disagreement between scholars. Following the word of the two angels (Malakaini), since the words Harud Marooth are used, Some scholars have suggested that the place is supposed to have been called Harut Marod, the angels. According to the meaning that they have given, it is said that two angels named Harud and Marood taught the magic Zihr. How can angels teach witchcraft? Some lecturers have also written a story to explain the question. The angels are envious of the Lord's frequent mention of humanity and express their objection to the Lord and list the sins of men. To which the Lord said, "I have given men a sense of desire. Thus they often make mistakes. Choose two of you. I give them a sense of desire. Let them go to the earth.” Of the angels Harut and Marut were chosen. They both came to earth and committed more sins than men. They were the ones who taught magic. The story goes like this! The above story and the meanings based on this story correct? When we examine that, we can see that the above meaning conflicts with many verses of the Quran. The verse 2:30 says that the Lord declared the creation of human and that the angels said, "Human shall be confounded and shall shed blood." After the Lord has demonstrated the excellence and merit of the Adam "You are pure. We have no knowledge other than what you have taught us. You know yourself; The angels have repented of their mistake by saying, "Wise."2:32 In addition, the angels bowed down to Adam and sought their repentant 2:34 The angels are the ones who have already criticized the merits of man and acknowledged that the criticism was wrong after the Lord explained that it was wrong. How could angels of such nature have once again objected to the Lord? The angels will not disobey Allah. Verse 66: 6 says that they will do what is commanded. The angels bowed respectfully. They will not overtake him. Verses 21: 26,27 say that they will act according to his command. In the above verses the characteristics and nature of the angels are clearly explained. How would angels with such qualities have objected to the Lord's lack of action? They made their point because the Lord had asked their opinion to create man. This is not to say that it is objectionable or preachy. In this story, it is said that the angels have voiced opposition to the Lord has not heard them, and has created man. Such preaching is a change in the nature of angels. Teaching the sorcery Zihr is a denial of Kubr. The angels could never have done such lofty things. If we think of Harut Maruth as angels, then we will have to change the way that we believe angels. Therefore, the meaning of the attributes of the angels must be taken. We have to see if this can be interpreted in a different way without contrary to the attributes of the angels. The two angels are mentioned in this verse. If we say that the two angels are mentioned before or in the preceding verses, the two angels are mentioned in the verse 2:98 as the angel Gabriel Michaeel. The Jews who are against the angels Jibreel and Michael are condemned in this verse. Allah condemns this trend of the Jews and states in the series (verse 2: 102) that the two angels were not enchanted. Allah says this contrary to the Jews who said that the magic came to us through the two angels of Jibreel and Michael. The idea is that Jibreel and Mikayel have nothing to do with the witchcraft. In verse 2:98 it is said that the Jews were enemies to the angels called Jibreel Micahel. This is the explanation. By this, Allah removes the blame attributed by the Jews to the two angels, claiming that the two angels of Jibreel and Mikhail taught the magic. So who are Harut and Maruth? What is the need to mention them here? Questions arise here. This verse starts with saying that they follow what the Shaitans taught. Did the Shaitans teach directly? Or are evil men referred to here as satans? We need to understand this first. Just as the word 'Shaitan' is used for the real Shaitan, it is also used for evil men in verse 2:14, 6: 112, 114: 5,6. The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned that the one who traveled alone was Shaytan, (Abu Dawood 2240, Tirmidhi 1597) and the poets were Shaytan (Muslim 4548). In this verse we are discussing, Satan is said to have taught witchcraft. Do these Shaitans mean true Shaitans? Or the question of whether it refers to human shaitan . Lord says Harut, Marud, to clear this doubt. That is, Allah shows that the Shaitans who taught the sorcery were bad people named Harud and Marood. In Arabic, there are several meanings of the word, followed by another word. They say this in Arabic Badl. Harut, Marood is the description of the Shaytans (Badl). The Prophet Solomon didn’t teach the Jews the art of witchcraft. Neither are the angels Jibreel and Michael. On the contrary, what we have said so far is that Harut and Marut two human Shaitans taught sihr. Imam Qurtubi, a genius of Tabsir, said, "This is a very good explanation, even if the verse is interpreted differently." Ibn Kasir also took this interpretation of the Qurtubi in his Tafsir. In conclusion Allah clearly mentioned in sura 2:102 ‎وَٱتَّبَعُواْ مَا تَتْلُواْ ٱلشَّيٰطِينُ عَلَىٰ مُلْكِ سُلَيْمٰنَ And they followed what the (Shaitan -devils) had recited during the reign of Sulaiman. ‎وَمَا كَفَرَ سُلَيْمٰنُ Never Sulaiman did disbelieve ‎وَلٰكِنَّ ٱلشَّيٰطِينَ كَفَرُواْ And the devils disbelieved. ‎ يُعَلِّمُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ ٱلسِّحْرَ by teaching magic to people. (Note: From here give more attention. They way of black magic teaching method used by devils) ‎وَمَآ اُنۡزِلَ عَلَى الۡمَلَـکَيۡنِ بِبَابِلَ هَارُوۡتَ وَمَارُوۡتَ‌ؕ وَمَا يُعَلِّمٰنِ مِنۡ اَحَدٍ حَتّٰى يَقُوۡلَاۤ اِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ فِتۡنَةٌ فَلَا تَكۡفُرۡؕ‌ فَيَتَعَلَّمُوۡنَ مِنۡهُمَا مَا يُفَرِّقُوۡنَ بِهٖ بَيۡنَ الۡمَرۡءِ وَ زَوۡجِهٖ ‌ؕ وَمَا هُمۡ بِضَآرِّيۡنَ بِهٖ مِنۡ اَحَدٍ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰهِ ‌ؕ وَيَتَعَلَّمُوۡنَ مَا يَضُرُّهُمۡ وَلَا يَنۡفَعُهُمۡ‌ؕ وَلَقَدۡ عَلِمُوۡا لَمَنِ اشۡتَرٰٮهُ مَا لَهٗ فِى الۡاٰخِرَةِ مِنۡ خَلَاقٍ ‌ؕ وَلَبِئۡسَ مَا شَرَوۡا بِهٖۤ اَنۡفُسَهُمۡ‌ؕ لَوۡ کَانُوۡا يَعۡلَمُوۡنَ ‏﴿۱۰۲﴾ and that which was revealed to the two angels at Babylon, Harut and Marut. But the two angels do not teach anyone unless they say, "We are a trial, so do not disbelieve And they learn from them that by which they cause separation between a man and his wife. But they do not harm anyone through it except by permission of Allah. And the people learn what harms them and does not benefit them. whoever purchased the magic would not have in the Hereafter any share. And wretched is that for which they sold themselves, if they only knew. [Al Qur'an 2:102] To the safest side 1. we have to believe what Allah says. 2. From Quran Allah says Shaitan was teaching Black magic to people. 3. Angels never bring black magic to Haruth & Maruth 4. Angels never disobey Allah 5. Allah never send black magic to Haruth Maruth through Jibreel or Mikaeel. 6. If you believe those haruth maruth are angels then you have to believe against what Allah said in verse 1:102 (shaitans had teach black magic to people). 7. Therefore we have to understand this verse 2:102 without any contradiction to Quran and sunnah. Do not rely on Israyilliyath stories. Even if our interpretation is wrong Allah is merciful he will forgive us. But if you disbelieve by saying against teaching of Quran and sunnah you will be in trouble. Please weigh which stands is more safe for your belief. Allah knows best and I seek forgiveness if I am wrong.

According to shafi Madhab reciting bismillah before fathiha is mandatory ...whereas in hanafi Madhab it's not...

@Aijaz bhai, ruqya is the process of healing (shifaa) through the Quraan. Usually, a qualified scholar does it, but by putting one’s trust in Allah swt, any Muslim can do it. For example, a mother can do it on her daughter or you can do it on yourself. A STRONG trust in Allah swt is required. Other people, non-Muslims, call it ”exorcism”.

...maybe was David Wood who was in front of Yasir Qadhi, not a Jinn. At the same time in other religions like Christianity they made exorcisms. Christians do not believe in Jinns. For Christians a Jinn is a demon. What is very interesting is that Christian exorcise in the name of Jesus and it works. Very interesting experience in Christianity and Islam. Also there is authority between demons, there is hierarchy between them as Yasir mentioned in the video, the difference with Christianity is that Jesus has authority over all those demons and they are scare of Jesus and know the authority of him. Demons in Christianity are scare of eucharist and they know what is it. Looks like in both cases the demons and/or ginns obey God.

Can a non muslim who doesn't even know to pronounce bismillah be free from jinn possession? If he is possessed can he be treated by Ruqiyah? When a judge encounters a criminal, can the judge absolve the criminal of crime giving the benefit of doubt that the crime may have been perpetrated by the jinn possessed by the person?

I think Allah’s name can be taken in other languages also. In modern world, some of this seems to be associated with psychology as science doesn’t believe in the world of unseen. So the criminal could go for psychological treatment.
