They say a picture is worth a thousand words. But I honestly can’t describe the pain this person is going through. My grandmother once told me that losing a loved one is an indescribable ache that lingers, a void where their presence once filled the heart. Memories become bittersweet echoes, and every moment becomes a reminder of their absence. Grief is a journey through a landscape of sorrow, where healing is slow, and the pain of loss becomes a part of one’s story.
@STOICZZZ11 ай бұрын
Absolutely sad indeed. And this landscape is composed of all the nanoseconds and of all of the atoms in one's body as the delicate fiber of self is severed. Everything is simultaneous, involuntary and exposed. From the shock of loss, the gasps of air, the numbing steps, the burning tears, the silent screams, to the inescapable and forever "missing" that has replaced that which was once there. All are captured in that fraction of a fraction of a fraction of a second, when the shutter snaps. In the end, no amount of pictures worth any amount of words could ever amount to the words that will never come from their lips again.

''Freedom is Not Far Away'' made me think of the true freedom that will come when we die. When we have lived a good life, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, kindness and real love are like battles waged against evil that will not be forgotten. And no matter the suffering that we're enduring right now, we know it is worth it, and we have hope that true peace and freedom is just around the corner. ❤🔥 The darkness is not forever

"Everything that you thought had meaning: every hope, dream, or moment of happiness. None of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield. None of it changes what a speeding rock does to a body, we all die. But does that mean our lives are meaningless? Does that mean that there was no point in our being born? Would you say that of our slain comrades? What about their lives? Were they meaningless?... They were not! Their memory serves as an example to us all! The courageous fallen! The anguished fallen! Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them! And as we ride to certain death, we trust our successors to do the same for us! Because my soldiers do not buckle or yield when faced with the cruelty of this world! My soldiers push forward! My soldiers scream out! My soldiers RAAAAAGE!" -Erwin Smith

Maybe choice is only an illusion, and every branch of fate peads to the same ultimate conclusion. Then why does anything matter? Because we made a choice. I choose to *make* it matter. We cannot win. We can not stop them, but we will bleed them all the same. They will remember us, and in doing so, every time they look back, they will *make* it matter. Every minute we fight here is a minute they lose. Every hour we deny them, a feat of impossibility. The black cross of the Luftwaffe. Follow the cries of German forces crossing through Bulgaria and into our eastern flank. Routed, desperate, and outnumbered, we fought on until we couldn't. The title says it all... When there is nothing left for you, when all you loved and cared about has been stripped away by the waves of cold, cruel world, it makes me ask myself... if it's all worth fighting for. But at the same time... I just refuse to leave whilst letting the enemies have the last laugh... survival by any means necessary, but will it even make things better? I dunno, maybe there are a few others out there that understand "exactly" what I am saying... maybe people like us should stick together and survive... Just maybe.
@brianm7449 ай бұрын
What people talk about... I've experienced. I'm a disabled veteran and I've had everything taken from me. A "normal" life.... a family, wife, children, grandchildren. I will never experience those things. I've had my health taken from me...I'm a cancer survivor. I've had my mental wellbeing permanently taken from me with PTSD and another anxiety disorder. I've lost my parents and wasn't able to give them any grandchildren. I lost my career in the US military... a career that I wanted my father who made his career in the military to be proud of. I lost the right (in most States now) to legally possess and carry a firearm because I have to take a medication that doesn't affect my judgement in being safe with one, but yet.... there are people out there with NO medical/psychiatric/psychological education, training or experience telling me I'm dangerous enough to keep them away from me legally. I will never know a moment without a constant, low-level pain because of my sustained injuries and permanent disfigurement from my service. I will never know what it means to have a son or daughter grow up and go to college... to have a career that I can be proud of. I will never know what it means to have a woman I can grow old with, cherishing every minute of our time together... because we would know that "love" isn't enough...that "love" isn't a noun...a state of being...it is a verb, which connotes action. I read some of the comments here of what people THINK they know of loss, pain, sorrow... and they really have no clue... not really. And yet...... I hope. Every day is a new day. Every day a new beginning. I go on. I spit in the face of my detractors (they are many, including my surviving siblings) and I tell them GFY because you weren't there when I needed you the most. I made it through BY MYSELF and by being yoked with my Brother. And yes...I'm still working on forgiveness, but it's been the toughest thing I've ever had to even TRY to accomplish. So yeah. When you think you have it bad, think about me and my other fellow veterans who are in even worse conditions and state than I am and say to yourself "Wow, I have a LOT to be thankful for...."
@SynnekoNya9 ай бұрын
@brianm744 Well, I understand that, and I've never undermined what anyone else experienced ESPECIALLY a veteran, you guys are the ones most likely to learn the brutal truth of the world head on and I get it can always get worse, there is no limit to how BAD things can get, that's just the curse of living I suppose... and it sure has gotta hurt like hell to see the country you fought so hard for turn it's back on you. People deal with it in different ways... in the end, what you choose to do is what matters and makes you who you are... and I refuse to ever let myself get to that point of what you are dealing with. I know exactly how you feel when reading all this. "Many of you will NEVER get to experience part of what I went through." Right? Me personally, the reason I am speaking the way I am is BECAUSE I can't stand the fact of letting myself go through that hell knowing I had the ability to change it... But... when you try to change it, people see you as a heretic, the world will start to paint you as a bad person for taking your life back into your own hands. I know what I can lose, and I refuse to keep letting the world walk all over me... I had planned to join and serve years ago, but ultimately managed to realize early on that it is NOT worth fighting for this country when the true enemies lie within our very own soil and around this time I would've been out and probably also screwed over if I hadn't seen it early on. Now... I am stuck between a choice that can change more than just my life alone... like fighting in war itself. Do I keep quiet and try to endure the current hell and minimize my losses... or do I fight to change more than we can imagine? Failing would mean losing absolutely EVERYTHING and ANYTHING I have left and probably left in a state where death would be a better fate... after all, we can't just sit around and expect a hero to come to our rescue. We don't live in some fantasy where some hero will swoop in and save every single person in the world. Sometimes, you just have to take a stand and become your own hero...
@flamingosedai18209 ай бұрын

When you write sad stories or your old memories of a loved one that had passed this playlist gives you inspiration. we all face challenges in life. the world may treat us with hate, or violence. kids may mock us or our families may not love us any more. our families may break and our hearts may fill with sorrow. but through all of the pain and suffering we must go on. we must live our lives to the fullest even when we are down. loss of loved ones may beat us down, break our hearts, kill our emotions but even though we can't see the light in those moments, we will see the joy and love in the bigger picture. humans can always exploit love but it takes the ones who are willing to step forward and lead on to make this world a better place. we will see our loved ones again. in time our spirits will heal and our hearts will be filled with joy. Don't give up. always take those small steps forward to keep your life in focus on what really matters in life. I love you is all we need to head on and live. so to whoever is reading this, always know that someone, somewhere is looking out for you. I love you. never give up.

Not tomorrow. Not in the near future. You won´t see it coming. You can´t imagine. But I promise, that it will be alright. And when it is, in a few years or such... If this playlist is still online... 3:47 It was a cold night Me and my fellow men, on a quest to find freedom wandered through the forest Swords in hand We were prepared for battle Captain Maximilian led the way Once in a while he would speak words of kindness "Good job. I know we will soon make it. Just hold on to your spirits a little longer." Words of encouragement were the only things keeping us going I was the only woman in this group "Hark," our Captain said as he shot out his hand. "We near battle." At first we didn't understand, but then, in the distance, our eyes met a terrifying sight. Raging battle. Maximilian knelt down. We followed. "My friends, harken to what I am about to say." We nodded. He continued. "My fellow knights. The dark hour of our guarantied passing is upon us." We all exchanged glances of understanding so he continued. "Listen to me, I love you all as if you were my own." He bowed his head. We bowed ours. "To King Kendrick!" "To King Kendrick!" We stood, looking in sadness at the battle which was taking place not too far from where we stood. My eyes began to water. A young man, about my age put his hand on my shoulder, sensing my fear. He smiled. I forced a smile back. "Thank you Sam," I said. He nodded. "The time has come to be brave, Lucy, to be brave." When he let go of my shoulder, all the comfort that he brought instantly left. Captain smiled at us all. "Approach with rage in your hearts! For the KING!!" "FOR THE KING!" We shouted. 5:37 "CHARGE!" He yelled. We charged. 4:51 All the fear in me left as fast as it came. The boost of energy raged inside me. My friend Sam looked at me, and smiled again. "Be brave, Lucy." The enemy was surprised to see us as well as our fellow men who had been battling for days. But they quickly recovered and fresh enemy troops were sent their way. We all shouted with all our might... Three hours past. To me, three hours felt like minutes. Sam and I fought side by side, back to back, each facing two or three enemies at a time. Our swords were bloody, my face was stained with blood. I had seen hundreds of my friends fall. Our enemy advanced. But so did we. New troops were sent in to aid us. And that gave us more strength. Sam, my only comfort, was wounded. A blade had cut through diagonally through his chest. "Stay with me, I will bring you to camp, please, Sam, stay with me." Sam held on to life with all his might. But, the blade was stronger. The enemy had strategically placed and removed it to end all chances of the victims survival. If he would make it to camp he would surly bleed to death. I knew this, but I couldn't bare the thought of my dear friend dying, not yet. As I half carried half dragged Sam through the battle field, desperately trying to make it to camp an enemy soldier caught my eye. A sly smile formed on his lips and he started to advance towards me and Sam. "Going somewhere m-lady?" He questioned and he neared. I didn't answer, but tried to pick up my pace. No use. The evil soldier was close enough to touch me. "Asked you a question." He said. I set Sam down, ready to face him. But I wasn't quick enough. The soldier leaped towards me, scraping my armer with his sword. The force of his lunge through me to the ground. I gasped for air. The man smiled wickedly and instead of stabbing me, stabbed poor Sam, right in the heart. Sam was gone. I was ENRAGED. Suddenly, my strength tripled and I felt stronger than I had ever felt before. I drew my sword and charged towards my foe. His eyes glistened. He arranged his legs, preparing to face me in combat. I saw by the way his legs were he was planning to avoid my upcoming strike. I wouldn't let him. I raised my sword and turned it. Ready to stab him in the heart. His confidence seemed to quickly fade and started to retreat. "No you don't," I said. I stopped and aimed at his head. Took one step forward, and threw my sword at him. He fell. Blood tricked out of him like a fountain. I retrieved my sword. I had avenged Sam.... 19:40 Weeks later the end of the fierce battle slowly came to a close. Our forces were too much for our enemy. And they began gradually to retreat. The power inside me also began to fade 11:37 . I watched as the enemy ran. And as our forces confidently chased after them. I thought about Sam. The grief inside me took over. And I began to cry. 20:00-1:40 Man, took me thirty minutes to write this off hand, lol.

At this point anyone can make a good movie. Forget the people in Hollywood. Every time I see an awful film I always look back to youtube and see all these wonderful creations that hobbyists make for fun! All you need is good animation or acting, music, and of course a good story! I think we are on the edge of something that will revolutionize movie production!

Nice background for writing a book. I've tried various classical music playlists, but sometimes the tempo and emotions vary so much that it disturbs writing instead of motivating. This is a more even and gentle assembly, even if not innovative. Plus, I have a female warrior character, so sometimes a brief look at the graphics helps to push the action forward :)

P.S. On the second thought... don't you think that the young lady from the picture is in so much pain because the sword has just pierced her foot by accident?

This is perfect! I’m thinking about writing a story named “Rest of Us” and it’s about a girl who’s running away from a man. She accidentally runs down the abandoned hall of the mall she’s in, and little did she know she just made the biggest mistake of her life. She pushes on the panic bar of the door at the end of the hall, and she finds herself in a cold, dark, vast expansive labyrinth. She has to keep running away from the man, but unbeknownst to her, he already died by the hands of a creature in this labyrinth. This girl is oblivious to the fact that she’ll be staying here for years, learning about the labyrinth itself, and overall just learning how to survive, like the rest of us. That’s the plot I’m going off of, and this music really makes me visualize the story.

There are pain no one should ever feel, sadly im one of those where the pain was so great that now i cannot cry i only rage, i cant sleep i only dream of nightmares, there is a fire burning wich once kept my going while i was living jn a hostile world but now that fire is burning myself without ever stopping. I listen to this music when i try to sleep, if i focus enough on the music, my pain subside. complex childhood PTSD is an injury that is almost impossible to heal. Seek help if you think you might be affected.

"Nothing that we do has a true impact on our surroundings. The wind will blow, the sun will shine, the waves will clash, the birds will chirp, the stars will shimmer with their faint hue shine, the days will still dawn, and the moon will still glow. nothing we do will change that, as it shall be."

"As we walk along the fallen, counting our loses, there's one question we must ask ourselves. Why? Why did we fight a war that in the end doesn't change what we are going back to. Why did we fight a war for the rich, who are to stupid to slow down and look at their people, or for the tyrants who enjoy as their people suffer why do we still believe there is no change when we are the true change in this world. The question is always why, but much like the first man Adam said, "Is there any reason a father needs, to protect his very own children." So who are you to doubt us, who are you to stop us, to stop what is right in this broken world. As our fallen leader once said today there is no victor, no loser, there is only people and souls. We are people, we are Nightmares" - The Nightmares Book 1 (still being written)

The Battle was finally won but there were no cheers of victory thus so much blood had been spilt could it really be called a victory… swords layed upon the ground as Steel gravestones and a silence so dear not even a slight wind could be heard… this was the price for the battle of freedom
