this feels like one hell of a stretch. yes she says the med bay filled with purple light and stuff, however, if my daughter suddenly became a siren, even if I didn't know what a siren was, one of the things i would mention in the echo would be about the strange tattoos all over her body that weren't there before. I think the watcher was just trying to get anyone innocent off the moon so they weren't there when the crackening happened, and then when hyperion got there too.

I remember doing this mission in the presequel and can definitely see Emily being the Siren in BL4 due to the game taking place on Elpis and Kairos. How we supposedly crash land on Kairos would be probably from using the old Hyperion equipment left on the moon. So I’m gonna say the new Vault Hunters are from Elpis itself.

My thoughts on the shoulder spurs are less symbolic and more litteral however it provides more evidence that she could be Emily. When the mother describes the watcher she uses the word "spindly" maybe after leaving elpis she tells the story to Emily and when she made her outfit she put them there intentionally in recognition of the being who either saved her or prophesied her recovery to help her mother.

My guess is that Dahl was doing something to Emily. Draining her powers somehow. And the watcher probably taught her the basics of how to control them instead. That's why she was sick in the first place. The nurse wasn't helping Emily. She was keeping her contained, and manipulating her mother. And after they left, Dahl came after them. Probably kidnapped her mother. And Emily wants her back.

Its underrated because on release, it was basically unplayable, boss enemies weren't respawnable, and they couldn't get the raid bosses in the game. Again, no dedicated drops, that usually takes 1 and a half years. Cryo was the only decent element to use. The shock damage enemies did would 100 to zero you. Needing air to breathe and felt bad. They nerfed half the roster because they thought they were too strong and left Nisha in her op ez mode state. It's not underrated. Most people dont like being fed unfinished games. However, like they always do. A year later, and it was fine, every borderlands game eventually is like this, so thats why they feel underrated.

There was one other siren mentioned in Borderlands comics, I believe her name was Asha and she was a beast tamer (if memory serves right). I specifically remember Asha being able to do something with Rakkhive. I've got three theories about this siren. 1. In the trailer we see the timekeeper building what looks to be an artificial vault, all made of current technology not eridian. Maybe the reason her tattoos are different is that she is an artificial siren, created either by one of the corporations experimenting or by the timekeeper himself. 2. Her tattoos being purple links to her gameplay more than her story. She could be using eridium to power herself up, like we have seen Lilith and Tyreen do in the past which also caused their tattoos to turn purple. Maybe this is how they explain her having multiple skill trees like in BL3; she's using Eridium to unlock her full power and have multiple siren powers as a result. 3. She has Tyreens power, but it has recombined with the power Troy took from her, combining Tyreens blue tattoos with Troy's red ones and creating a purple tattooed siren

I can't imagine gearbox giving us Tyreens leach powers because that's essentially a useless skill in the hands of a playable hero character so the only one left would be the still unknown abilities of Steele, since we know of the four others powers and who holds them being: Lilith, Ava, Tannis and Amara - who are all still alive. Who knows who has the Leach ability now, but it's safe to assume that the new playable siren will be default have Steeles powers that latched on to this new girl when she died. The purple light in the Echo log also matches up with the colour of her tattoos in the trailer and given the aging on Zane and how many years this would be after the pre-sequel, a little girl would certainly be all grown up by now. This is too far of a stretch imo. Not that she is Emily Swan but that she is an “Artificial Siren” She has to be the recipient of either Tyreen Calypsos Abilties or that of Commadant Steeles. She most certainly is NOT the 7th Siren of Myriads Myth because myriad warned us NOT to find the 7th. Would make ZERO sense for gearbox to just make the Infamous 7th Siren our starting character. The guy you got the info from technically is 100% correct in that during the event of pre-sequel ALL of the sirens are alive EXCEPT Steele meaning our playable Siren MUST have her unknown ability. We can also rule out the ability of Healing because if Steele had the Ability to heal she wouldn’t have been an instant after thought in BL1. If could be Emily, but I'm also not convinced of that, if she had been turned into a siren if would've mentioned the tattoos. I'm willing to be wrong about that though. It wouldn't make any sense for them to tease the 7th as a powerful evil and then just make her a playable character. I'm hoping the new siren is someone we haven't met yet.

I really think Tyreen, and Nyriad before her, were the seventh. I think Nyriad was basically issuing a warning for people to not seek the future inheritors of her own power because she knew very personally how dangerous that power could be. And I do think this new Siren has Steele's powers. TPS takes place a little after BL1. If these logs were laying around for a year or two before the player finds them, the timing pretty much lines up. Steele dies at the end of BL1, her power transfers to Emily.

It's not just Steele's powers that are unaccounted for. Tyreen died in 3 and her powers, presumably, passed to someone else too. So even without the whole "Seventh Siren" thing we have two possible power sets that she could have inherited (one known and one unknown). I usually play healers in other games, so having a healer Siren would be pretty freaking cool! But being able to play a leech Siren would be BEYOND fun.

So when I saw the title of the video, and it started with you in Presequel, I IMMEDIATELY knew where your thought process was heading. Also, the "artificial siren" aspect kinda makes sense, maybe the Watcher turning Emily into a siren is what caused her to be healed, as every siren we've had the ability to play has had some form of healing ability. What if the Watcher was there when Steele was killed by the Destroyer, and somehow "kept" her powers in reserve, knowing they would be needed some day. And I'm pretty sure Annie is alive, although maybe she's trapped inside this vault that the Timekeeper seems to be able to control. Everyone and their mom has already made note of how this vault looks nothing like the others, being very mechanical and powered by a yellow energy. What if it's not the actual vault of Kairos? Maybe the Timekeeper built a "prison" around the real vault, and the entrance to that prison is this artificial vault? We go inside this vault after beating the Timekeeper, and inside is a massive prison with some "final challenge"(could be anything, maybe the "true form" of the Timekeeper, maybe some prison warden, idk) before we can enter the "real vault" located under a super high security door of some kind.

My only problem with the theory would maybe inconsistency or oversight of the tattoos. If it was a new Siren being made and not a regular healing. Why wouldn’t they include something about the tattoos that would surely be on the child’s body in the Echo? I know that the mother would be happy about her daughter being healed but I’m sure a huge glowing tattoo covering her child’s body would definitely be something she would want to bring up. Also the theory about the 6 sirens really isn’t a theory. It’s more of a canon fact. The second a Siren dies their power will instantly be transferred to someone else. So there will always be 6 Sirens at all times no matter who dies. I also dont think she is artificial. I think its like the case of Maya and Ava. Maya knew that Ava would become the successor of her Siren Powers. I think the same thing happened with the Watcher in the Echo. The powers come from their race and civilization so we can assume that they also know when a Siren will die and a new one will appear. The Watcher probably knew that the girl would become a Siren so the Watcher told the Mother that the girl wont die because if the girl dies the Watcher would have no reason to think she would be a Siren. Then somewhere on another planet a Siren died and at the same time the powers transferred to the daughter. Also the girl being artificial would be a major plothole. If the Eridians see that they can make an artificial Siren once they would have no reason to not keep making them. We would hear way more stories of Sirens on other planets if they can be made artificially.

Having played through all the games that would be a wrong and flagrantly dumb assesment as we see a teen and full grown adult get Siren Powers. I am only discussing about the child in the Echo and how her powers specifically could have come about. Yes Tannis and Ava got their powers later in life, however, they only got them after another Siren died. Tannis got her powers after Angel died and Ava got her powers after Maya died. Before then they were not Sirens. They were regular people who had the potential to be Sirens. They could not use any powers before the became a full fledged Siren. Im saying that this could have been the same way the girl in the Echo could have supposedly gotten her powers. You are trying to debate about a correlation to age and markings which I did not make. I reckon Emily was already on Elpis. She was searching for her mother who went hunting for the watcher. Annie wanted answers from the watcher because she recognised the siren markings, unfortunately when the watcher said to leave elpis, is wasn’t a suggestion it was a warning and when Annie finally found the watcher she was killed for ignoring the watchers warning. As for Emily can’t really say whether her powers will be Steele’s or even the 7th siren because as far as I can remember we don’t know what Steele’s siren power was and if I’m not mistaken when siren powers are transferred from one person to another it’s pretty much instant unless there is some form of eridian involvement so if Emily’s powers are from Steele she would’ve received them at almost the same time as when Steele got turned into a donut and if it is the 7th siren, we’d need to establish the other 6 in this story for it to have some impact (is Lilith still alive, who now has tyreens powers, who has Steele’s, etc)

If there are only six Sirens, with the exception of Troy who is certainly a "mistake" or an exception. During BLTPS Lilith has Phase Walk Maya has Phase Lock Angel has Phase Shift Amara has Phase Trance Tyreen (and Troy) have Phase Leech By the end of BL3 Lilith is Status Unknown Maya has passed her powers to Ava Angel has passed her powers to Tannis Amara is alive The Calypso are dead This just leaves Asha's power, which is Animal Control. The comics are supposed to be cannon, so if that's still true then we can assume one of the following: 1) This Siren has Animal Control 2) This Siren has Phase Leech, as we know the Calypso twins are dead and now their power is up for grabs 3) This Siren has Phase Walk, and has inherited Lilith's powers 4) Another Siren we know has died since the end of BL3 and this Siren has that power OR 5) More than 6 powers exist, but only 6 are allowed to manifest at any one time 6) There can be more than 6 Sirens and Jack was wrong 7) The writers forgot that the comics exist.

If u guys read the comics of borderland it show a siren that can control animals but I can't remember what the color is but I'm pretty sure it's pinkish in the book and the one who wrote the comics was a sub-writing of borderlands one and two storyline.

Gonna say it now I don't think the new siren has taken Steeles powers, and my hunch is that Amara received Steeles. Steele was hinted at also was apart of the lance assassins which would make sense to Amaras siren power kit. I believe Asha has died somehow, I'm not sure how it all lines up timeline wise but we haven't heard of Asha in a long time. Asha's power seems to be within Animal control maybe mind control related. I think the new siren will be the pet master of the new vault hunters with Asha's powers, and will be able to use animal/beast related skills and maybe be able to use forms that allow her to fly etc.. This is ofc if Asha is actually cannon at this point, who knows. I believe what Nyriad said about the seventh siren will be a plot within this new game, potentially its what the timekeeper is guarding or is. I really don't think Nyriad was talking about herself and i remember something about sirens being attracted to each other within the universe, leading Lilith to the new planet, rather by complete coincidence Dido/Maya/Ava unkown/Lilith Angel/Tannis Steele/Amara Nyriad/Tyreen/Troy Asha/New Vault hunter

This new siren could be like an artificial siren the real ones have the blue tattoos but there has been one more "siren" who has not had blue tattoos Troy Calipso. so maybe the watcher unintentionally gave her some sort of powers that could have caused her to have those purple/pink siren tattoos.

I think Amara had Steele’s powers. When you fight her in Borderlands 1’s Claptrap DLC she relies on melee attacks which suggests that she was alive she also preferred melee much like Amara.

As much as it would make sense to give this new siren Commandant Steele's unknown siren abilities I don't think they will until its time to unveil the seventh siren. My only reasoning for this is because as far as I can tell each Siren ability has a corresponding tattoo and each user that has abilities passed on or given to them seem to follow the same base design in some form but this is hard to confirm since our examples are Angel/Tannis and Maya/Ava. However we do know that the base siren abilities as well as their tattoos can change and evolve based on how much eridium they absorb or are exposed to with our only example being Lilith since we don't know what Angels tattoos originally looked like before Jack started pumping her full of eridium. So if they wanted to they could say her tattoos are different than Steeles because before she gained hers the sickness she is suffering from is some form poisoning due to overexposure to eridium or slag and the reason she recovered so quickly is because when she became a siren her body absorbed all the radiation which caused her abilities and tattoos to change.

I've played The Pre-Sequel several times and have heard those recordings but I feel it was more akin to some background to the Guardian than to Emily. Plus, after setting up the plot point of the 7th Siren, bringing back Emily Swann who was never seen or heard, only the hardcore fans of Borderlands will know her and not really attract newcomers

My prediction, the watcher being an eridian gave emily her power and i think she is gonna be able to control a monster of some kind, the tattoos i don't think matters, amaras changed based on elements so i dont think we should be theorizing about tatoos ingame especially since they clearly want to make the tattoos more dynamic

Interesting theory, there was another take on why Emily may have Steels powers out there somewhere that explained it a bit better and was speculated before the trailer for bl4 Why I do not mind this theory, what makes me feel skeptic is the fact that this siren is a VH. If we don’t pick her as a character, then all this prep and planning the Watcher supposedly did amounts to nothing. And we know for a fact that it’s all already in the lore and in the past. It happened regardless of this trailer siren being there or not. I dunno, the borderlands storyline kinda develops with all 4 starter VH being there no matter which one of them we pick, but still. I wouldn’t be too surprised if the theory turns out to be true, BUT I’d also be ok with Emily turning out to be a npc siren that plays a major part in the plot. Guess we’ll see Also, what is this about Ava maybe inheriting Maya’s powers? We know for a fact she did, it’s in the cutscene dude😉

Phase Lock, Trance, Shift, Walk, Leech. The five abilities we know the sirens can have. Canon to the game. Phase mind(beast control) was seen in asha in the comics. If theres rumour to believe seven sirens. Then could the 7th be Steeles ability or maybe an all encompassing siren. A siren with all powers under her belt? Did the developers ever say they scrapped the comics abilities?

For me, the timeline doesn't actually seem to line up here, like, I know we've got no age for Emily in TPS, but from the events of TPS to the events of BL4 is a pretty significant time gap. 5+ years from 1 to 2, than another 7 from 2 to 3, than another time jump from 3 to 4. The siren in the trailer just simply seems too young imo to have been this girl. unless she were like 3 in the echo recordings. Though without knowing her actual age, we've really got no way of knowing

How I see it is when game developers make a game and plan other entries they will have the whole story written out so they have something to build the game around, I wouldn’t be surprised if the borderlands 5/6 story was already written down just waiting for the time to make the games.
