Dragging that chest along the floor, i thought, "he should put some wheels on that", Then I paused the video to take a closer look and changed my mind. A "sledgehammer would be ideal !" I did not expect what happened next. The whole thing fell apart. What a great piece of theatre, how you arranged for the whole thing to fall apart on the tiny tap of a hammer beats me. Great video. Once again you are living up to your channel name, you are truly Epic. I love it.

0:32 - That's like hitting the juke box in the sweet spot and it played your tune instantly! Ha ha ha! You are trying not to smile, Jason, but we see it! This box is so elegant in its simplicity and so well conceived, it is easy to miss the mastery behind it. Such a beautifully simple solution to the tilting drawer with no special hardware. I am marveling at the elegance of the solution. I love it! It looks fabulous, and so very useful. French cleat in the back, very nice. The felt matches the handle colors. The handles are just right, not too dark, very pleasing color scheme. The way you demonstrated the drawer mechanism for tilting was genius.

Your works are amazing, and THANK YOU for sharing. INSPIRED Oh not to mention for those of us that aren't KZbinrs it's great to watch work that I can actually afford to make and not hours of just watching the rich ppl build ideas with thousands of dollars worth of tools I can't afford. So end up trying to figure out what I can make with the items I can buy. Those 3,000.00 dollar slabs of wood will never be available to me.

This will be excellent for carving knives. I can suggest a possible improvement. When I made heayduty drawers for a big tool chest, I cut the slides as french cleats. This method keeps drawers from cocking and jamming, and actually keeps the walls of the carcass from bowing too. Oak makes a durable slide and when waxed the drawers slide easily.

No, on the contrary. A true artist must always break out of conventional habits. You are in a world of color and you deliberately barricade yourself within the confines of green - why?
