All this quiet carpentry without power tools.... looks like this man loves to do woodworking but doesn't want to wake the wife and kids with a circular saw at 12:30 at night.

I think what I enjoy most about these videos is of course the craftsmanship, but what I most enjoy the craftsmanship without the reliance on the brand name items. This is not to say you are not using quality tools. I don’t think anyone doubts that quality tools are necessary. But there’s not this huge emphasis on Festool or dewalt or Milwaukee products. I pretty sure I’ve seen you use dewalt drill but it’s not some emphasized matter. There’s no call to attention that you may or may not be sponsored by so and so company. Your craftsmanship truly speaks for itself. It’s inspiring. Salute to you sir 👌🏾

Another great build! Have this one marked in case I ever get around to building the chest I want. Just one small, very humble tip I would offer: I overwhelmingly work with metal as a hobby (car resto, blacksmithing, ect). I find it easier to drill holes in thin metal then cut it out because it seems to greatly reduce the chances of a small piece to distort, 'grab' the bit, and wrap around- effectively destroying the piece in some cases. That said- I can't even compare to your skill level, so if it works for you, forget I am speaking! :)

In don't know how I missed this one before but this is the first time I watched this vid, can't wait for the next one (must be due soon, got withdrawal symptoms) Btw, it was very strange not seeing all those fabulous chests and racks you have built since the bench. Brilliant project and brilliant vid as always.

This is stunning. You may only have 352 drawers, but you've probably cut 10,000 miters! The finish really makes it. Just outstanding. I aspire to making one someday, even if only one quarter as impressive.

That was amazing to watch! Thanks for the proverbial "peek" over your shoulder as you built that beautiful machinist's chest. It was nothing short of inspiring. If I could maybe recommend one tiny upgrade? Maybe put a couple of small sections of chain diagonally from the lid to the body of the box to prevent the top from accidentally falling backwards and ripping away from the body, tearing out , or bending your hinges and ruining all of your efforts. Long time subscriber, always looking forward to your next project. Be well.
