Two longtime favorites return as expert chef and chef instructor Frank Proto trades Po' Boy recipes with home cook extraordinaire Lorenzo. We gave Lorenzo $340 worth of ingredients to reproduce Frank's recipe while sending only a modest $25 worth of stuff back the other way. They kinda cheated by adding saffron and counting the price of the entire container's worth of ingredient rather than just what was needed for the recipe. You're not putting $12.99 worth of oil on there.

It's absolutely bizarre how & why they manipulate the prices for both sides when they don't have to do it that way at all and get the same effect without also getting the negative side effects of discouraging cooks to be likely to try any of the more pricey ingredients. 🤷‍♂️

I was born and raised in south Louisiana where the po’boy is from baguette is not the bread. The bread is French bread. Preferably leidenheimer bread but down here most grocery stores carry there own which is nearly as good as leidenheimer bread. As for the Tony’s Chachere it’s easy to make Cajun seasoning and by making it you control the salt content

Remoulade is something you can find on some place's po boys, personally I grew up eating them and I often prefer it to just the traditional mayo. Rouille like aioli are gonna be pretty darn similar to remoulade though, it's all just the French naming slight variations of things outright instead of just saying, spicy-, yolk only-, etc.
