Apart from the difference in size they’re in the same category of cruising cats, so within this category differences in performance are limited across the board anyway. Wouldn’t be easy nor fair to compare a 46ft cat of 15 tons to a 52ft cat of 30 tons. If we would buy another cat at this moment out of all cats in the market there wouldn’t be a single doubt to buy the 52S again.

Cat Greatcircle Agreed but how often do you pass by a 74ft Cat vs a 45 to 50ft Cat. More Cats are going to be envious of you than you are of them - at least it’s that way for us manly men🤓😎 I bet you did look like a dingy next to that monster of a boat.

How much do you motor compared to sailing? Does it really make sense to have a sailing catamaran instead of a motor cat?

For a sailor that would be a rather odd question as he would use the motor only when absolutely necessary 😂 I reckon that asking the question implies automatically that the answer for you personally is probably no...

Sailing is the only real Sense.

@@CatGreatcircle This is depending where you travel. My feeling is, in Europe you almost never have enough wind or from the wrong Direktion or too much. If I would travel only in Europe, I would take a motor cat. But I want to travel the world.
