it's so nice having strangers asking how's your life been, i'm still alive guys. And i'm still trying to figure things out, not that struggling anymore, but still kinda lost. I've graduated, got a nice job and stuff, but being lost is inevitable, i guess i'm having this so-called mid-life crisis, lol. And wow, I didn't remember i did feel this 3 years ago, the fear in me has been gone, but the emptiness grows time after time. All things considered, I've been worse after 3 years, lol. I couldn't put my finger on what it is that made me like Epik High for so long now and keep coming back... but after this song I know: simply high quality music + intelligent, straightforward lyrics, often telling a story. I really really appreciate sincerity of each song... no gimmicks (even though those can be fun too), just... good storytelling and good music. It makes the listening experience all around easy to enjoy no matter where you are in life. On that note, I SO appreciate all the subtitles on this vid! Korean, English, karaoke... 👍👍👍👍👍

it means the fear of becoming an average person like getting an average job and average lifestyle as well as living your life just like how thousands of people live theirs. a person could also have a lot of expectations for their dreams and their life and they just wouldn't want to settle for less because they don't want be an average person. A vicious cycle with no way out. There's no way this way of living can be expected to be sustainable for centuries. It's disheartening that the enormous number of lives lost every year to stress, depression and anxiety is almost chalked down like a reasonable trade-off. It almost feels like the richer we are, the cheaper we are, as societies.
