Got mine used 3 years ago and absolutely LOVE this guitar. The amount of sounds you can get with this guitar is unbelievable!! So glad I was able to find this one! It seems each time I play it I can coax new sounds out of this beauty....

Picked mine up on the local classifieds for 200 bucks!! Absolutely LOVE the sound of the Shadow nanomag pickup sent to an acoustic amplifier. I sweeten the acoustic sound by using a Boss AC3 acoustic pedal. Sounds SO rich with the acoustic amp mixed with a dirty or distorted amp tone fed from the standard magnetic pickups. I use a Morley Twin Mix switching pedal to send the "two" guitars outputs to two separate amps. I can now accurately play all those rhythm parts of songs that have an acoustic guitar in addition to the overdriven electric guitar. I feel like I have another guitar player on acoustic playing along with me when ever I want. KILLER GUITAR setup!

Time travel forward to July 2020. I'm shopping for a guitar at The House of Guitars in Rochester NY and I see a satin neck Les Paul hidden behind a bunch of other brand new 10+ year old guitars. I pull it out and I'm interested. So I bring it to the counter. He says $350. I look at it again..check for string buzz and height..it looks good so I reply "sold". Then he tells me what's going on, what the ultra really is, and I'm even more happy! I didn't even bother plugging it in. I paid for it, they have me a brand new nice looking Gibson gig bag, I threw it in, zipped it up and drove home. Holy crap this guitar is freakin AWESOME!! It's a 2008 but was brand new..."new old stock" they called it. I registered the warranty with Epiphone, using the card they gave me and everything is good! I absolutely love the tone options I get. You'll never be bored with this beautiful guitar

GREAT DEMO! Thank you for starting out at low volumes to get some idea what this guitar sounds like and it's capability. Other videos I've watched had jumped right into overdriven sound. cute, but you learn nothing from that.

Nope, the batteries are for the acoustic simulator. The 'buckers are passive.

IMHO you need a studio mic to pick your voice up a bit better. Your voice doesn't come across clearly in the finished video.
