I've had the Ultra 3 for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. The combination of the nano-mag with the probucker pick-ups is an amazing sound. Fantastic value and an extremely wonderful guitar .

Just ordered mine. I can't wait. However, I hope the fret buzz isn't as bad as everyone says it is. I could mind of pick it up whilst he was playing there, but the people at Andertons said I could send it back if I was unhappy. Rock On!!

I Have one... and the sound its very good... you don't have problems to plug, you register in epiphone site and download a version of Guitar Rig 4 (includes one version LE when you buy the guitar, serial in a secret place on guitar :D)... the secret is: all-in-one and works! no need a lot of objects to plug the guitar in computer only USB cable.

Why are you using GarageBand instead of the guitar rig software that comes with the guitar?

With the USB cable connected directly to the computer, wouldn't the guitar be restricted to using the computer's onboard sound card? Wouldn't it be better to use an external audio interface as a sound improvement over the onboard sound card? But most of those do not have an extra USB input to plug the guitar into.

Finale songwriter has a system that attempts to notate direct recording input, but you need a pretty well specced computer, a good sound card with a high bit rate and recording frequency for it to come out remotely well.

Nice work Bryan, though this can be achieve with an adapter plug for the jack straight into the microphone input. You can then listen to the sound with studio earphones. For those that think it is artificial? Garageband allows real instruments to be used and has loops that include these. Fake? Please tell me what recording studios do not manipulate the sound in some way or another that does not sound fake? Now live music is a different story! ; )

+CSMedia I remember doing this with an electric guitar, using the adapter plug into my PC. I wasn't using any music software, it sounded ok, but eventually blew the speakers, well they still worked but had a horrible hissing sound to them, so I would advise against plugging the guitar in using an adapter.

right haha? plug this into any daw that isn't free and hook it up to nice monitors or a power amp and cab, and you get a better sound. also if you use this setup as a preamp, you'll undoubtably get a WAY better sound than dry to amp.

There´s a cable at Rocksmith, using the real plug in on a guitar and a USB at the end, then use any musicprogram like Magix like I have, but of course I don´t play that good like the guy up here. But it´s a cheap version. Your old guitar and 40 dollar something. What´s the price of Les Paul Ultra 3???

He's tuned down every string a half step. Then the chord progression goes: Ebm B Gb Bb7 and then repeats. In terms of positioning, it "looks" like this: Em C G B7. You're welcome ;)

There will always be a certain degree of latency, whether the amount is noticeable or not is the question. My guess is there isn't an issue or else this would be useless.
