The concept of getting truth through first person subjective experience is waaaaay much deeper then just saying lets accept things on faith, al ghazali never said that and i think you should correct this or do more research and upload another video on him because he literally discovered cogito 500 years earlier before Descartes

9:10 *Muslim from Baghdad here* the concept of the number 40 in Islam is not a hugely large number, sometimes it's like saying I read this book dozen of times. So it's not THAT specific. There is a verse in the Qur'an which says that Allah made bni Israel lost in the desert for 40 years. And many other verses in the Qur'an that indicates the number 40 is a famous number in Islam.

The question that you mentioned in the end " why do certain people think there is a need for the abolishment of religions? " It's because when people follow certain good things just because there religion says to follow it and not by using their own understanding of right or wrong..it's a pretty dangerous thing and these people can also do wrong things if they misinterpret their respective religious beliefs and that's just too absurd

Thats what hes been trying to tell us not everyone is capable enough to understand reson behind everything hence religion is used to make people do and beleive things easily. People with knowledge too are dangerous as the manipulative things as per their wishes nd also it after a certain amount of time knowledge takes over by ego.

@Stessy my thoughts exactly. Religion dulls critical thinking, it makes you gullible and hence prone to be taken advantage of. If everyone would stop believing in these antediluvian ideas for once, this world would be a far far better place in every aspect of life. Religion doesn't like change, it keeps people ignorant and this world backward as it always has.

दीपक bruh religion doesn’t stop you from building skyscrapers or getting education. Getting rid of religion is not gonna stop or dramatically decrease wars or develop your country wether your country will develop depends you could be an atheist country and be shithole or be a religious country and be the richest country.

It's almost as if you haven't read Nietzsche. Or maybe you just needed something more than reason in order to understand it -, something like experience? "[B]efore [the ascetic priest] can be the healer he must first inflict injury; so, while soothing the pain which the wound causes, he also puts poison into the wound." - On the Genealogy of Morals, 112 "[A]ll religions are in essence nothing but systematic cruelty." - On the Genealogy of Morals, 47 Tome to recognize that "The concept 'God' has been the greatest objection to existence so far... We deny God, we deny responsibility in God: this alone is how we redeem the world." - Twilight of the Idols, VI.8
