I have seen many videos of Inishmore and the other 2 islands, but yours, is by far the very best. Love the narration you gave and excellent filming. I was born on this island, but sadly removed to England as a child as my parents sought work. Liam O'Flaherty mentioned here was a relative of mine and my mother was born in the same village as him. So glad you all seemed to enjoy the experience. Try to return one day, but please, stay a few days, as a day trip can never give you the real feeling to the island as your always watching the clock. My best regards to you all.

My grandmother was of Irish heritage, but I've never been wealthy enough to visit. Those stone fences look like the ones surrounding the old Shaker villages I saw in Kentucky... I was told they were built by "Old Irish craftsman"... Thank you for sharing! Beautiful photography... The island looks majestic!

I agree with a statement that you leave a piece of yourself somewhere so wonderful. I saw the Aran Islands from the coast and now want to return to stay for some time to just experience something so rural and ancient and unique. What an amazing video, only fuels my desire to return in a few months time.

Your film is lovely. Beautifully shot. Perfect narrative. You transported me, and in the end, isn't that what art is supposed to do? Brava Ajith!

In the beginning, Those are hail stones (iced rain drops) common in winter in Ireland. The rain drops freezes as it falls from the clouds by the cold winds. Very good video.

Dear Ajith, thank you for this wonderful atmospheric piece of work! I also liked the style of your narration very much. A piece of me resides on Inishmore as well - it was so nice to revisit it through your film. Btw: when I was at Kilmurvey beach I saw a very old Lady swimming in the icecold water - so Noel might have been serious ;)

Jag var på Inishman i slutet på 60-talet. Utan att veta är jag helt övertygad att ingen av Aranöarna "finns längre" Transport från Galway med fraktbåt, ingen hamn, roddes iland i en curraugh

Beautiful, seem it many times alls beautiful except the damn wind power generators. They kill birds by the hundreds, are noisey, and economically backwards. Ugly as sin they are, time to rethink wind power, and get the beautiful vistas back! Great video all the same , thanks!
