Thanks Stephanie! I've used the pattern a couple times since for commissions and I still can't quite get it to come out the same way as it looks in her photos. I really wish mine was a bit cuter and more consistent than it is!

Update on the bear pattern: I just saved it on ig and I noticed that the designer said the head and body are bernat blanket, but the muzzle and overalls are parfait chunky. So they used two different size yarns, which is probably why you had issues. Just wanted to let you know incase you ever decide to try it again. I haven’t done the pattern so idk if that tip will help. Just wanted to mention it anyway. Thanks for the video and all your feedback on these free patterns 😊

Thank you for your thorough information on these patterns. I think there was like only two patterns at the beginning of the video that you gave 4.5 and I wanted to know why. But all the rest I fully understood your feedback and found it very helpful!! Even though you found the bear pattern difficult I think the finished items look adorable and I would totally want them!!

Which color of parfait chunky did you use for the bear with the overalls?

The dark brown is Toffee, the light brown is Mushroom, and the blue is Light Blue
