I’m have a serious problem! I have a compulsion, to crochet some thing every day! I’m staying up really late lately because I just can’t stop. I am almost finished with holiday crafting and would love to try the blanket shrug. I'm currently working on finishing up my very first handmade Christmas village and it's been SO much fun. I bought a little kit that comes with all the supplies you need to create a church, 3 houses, and 6 trees. I've been a tad obsessed 😂. I think the blanket shrug will be the perfect after Christmas project.

@@EliseRoseCrochet it was really fun. I found the kit at Barnes and Noble last year on clearance. All the village pieces are made from card stock and they include all the templates so you can make as many houses and trees as you like 🙂It took me about two weeks to put the entire village together working mostly in the evening after work. Because it's paper I'm going to have to be really careful with storing it and it definitely can't go out in the garage with everything else, most likely in a closet to protect the paper and glue from our brutal Houston summers 🙂

I made the costa beanie for a friend the night before an impromptu get together around Christmas and she loved it so much! My friends were so impressed with how it looked and had no idea I did it one night! I didn't have the Wool Ease yarn on hand so I used a ball of Big Twist Classic (Category 5 weight) held triple and it worked beautifully! I'm actually about to make one for myself because I loved it so much!

Thanks for this fantastic list! I’ve only been crocheting since August & I wasn’t feeling brave enough to make gifts this year but as a beginner I love doing “quick” projects. It’s a great way to try new things & if I screw up I don’t feel like it’s a lot of time wasted. I’ve had my eye on these blankets for a while so I may attempt one of them after the holidays. 😁

I made the baby lovey with the wood ring and it was so easy to make. My grand baby loves it. I made it for a boy so I just switched up the colors.

This was fantastic! So many lovely things to make :) Thanks a million. I truly love your channel. Like you my darling, I have a special needs son and I'm unwell myself. I was crocheting away a while back and suddenly, I stopped and for the life of me, I just couldn't pick up that hook and yarn!! My poor birds needed to be sewn, bags needed handles attached to them and cardigans... Suddenly one day two weeks ago I started having itchy fingers again :) Of course first thing was to start watching your channel again which I love and find very inspiring

Live for a quick work up because my time and often passion for a project is rather little. I have a blanket that should have taken me a couple weeks, 2/3 of the way done and it's been 2 months. I keep coming back to it though which is not my usual process, once i take a break from a WIP, it's usually destined for an extended stay in the WIP basket then when i find it i get mad at it and frog it. Lately love making headbands because they're useful and cute and quick
