Looks like good info coming up, even for someone like me who isn't building, but already flying KFA aircraft

Thanks, I tried to keep it short and not bore everybody with obvious things but we will delve deeper into some areas like annual maintenance checks and KFA specific items. Too many areas to cover in such a short space so I will address then as they come up.

Looking forward to seeing more of the build, I have been considering building a KFA Safari here in the UK - and as a first time builder seeing more of how the build works would really help make my decision

Our first UK Safari took to the skies yesterday, we are very excited about the LAA approval which is now nearing completion. You will find that the Safari is one of the kits with the shortest build times. If you are dedicated it will not take you long. The latest kit completed by a homebuilder took him 565hrs. He is a fist time builder.

I would extend the number of tools by a pneumatic riveting gun because there are hundreds of rivets and sometimes you have to be quite fast riveting the things prior the epoxy resin cures.

Good idea to have a pneumatic riveter for the 4mm steel rivets. There are about 200 of these and you will have big forearms after pulling them by hand......All other rivets are alli and easy to do by hand. These tips are mentioned in the manuals as well. Thanks for your feedback.

Stefan explain to me how does the Standard wing differ to the STL wing on the Safari?
@kfaaircraftandadventures

The STL wing has a longer cord and slightly thicket profile, larger tanks due to the profile and adds in total 1,5m2 to the wing size. It;s a really good wing, so far I am very happy with the results. The stall speed is 6kts lower and the cruise speeds is 10kts faster. I will do a review on this wing soon.
