I had a 93 1100 GSXR with a stock swing arm i road it every day to and from work. But it was not stock i never lost a race with it. It had a 1549cc kit with a lot of compression and a lot of other stuff done to it but it looked stock. The best pass in the 1/4 was 7.42 at 172mph remember stock swing arm so I had to make it up down track. That thing was so much fun to ride. It was geared up to help it launch so it was crazy fast top end on the street and it never got beat.

I totally agree with that. I feel the same about ZX series bikes, and a lot of the CBRs. They have no real soul about them. I love the R1 and the H2, because they’re so unique and you can tell the care and effort that was put into designing those amazing machines.

Never saw an octane rating on E30+ fuels around here. I ran E15 in my Suzuki and it seems a bit sluggish. It's actually E10.

No. On a new 1k you can do different fuel maps in the modes.

I’ve always wondered, why do you say that Shinko tires kill the horsepower numbers? Some friends of mine recommended shinko hook ups for drag racing, so what are the downsides to them?

It only kills the Horsepower number on the dyno because of the softness of the tire. Had similar issues with my Dunlap Q4's.
