I love interviews with musicians because they make me feel like I'm not the only one experiencing things like "Who's operating this body?". People in your everyday life either don't share these things or don't experience them. It's nice to know that somebody understands it

Thank you for your candidness & for sharing your experience with mental health and addiction. I wish more artists used their platforms to share the raw details about this epidemic, and help normalize therapy and self-love. The music industry glamorizes drugs and alcohol with zero remorse. It’s a miracle that you were able to find sobriety and clarity whilst in the industry. I listen intently to all your music and know that each lyric comes from a place of experience. Some songs sadden my heart, & others bring joy, but in the end you share real experiences, and there is so much beauty in that; especially because you’re in recovery and thriving. I see you. 🖤

"Who's operating this body?" - I thought I was the only one who had moments like that. After which I try my best not to think of think of the tangible brain inside my skull that just floats there. :/ Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

This interview hit me in the feeler box! This inspired me to look into furthering my awareness and education in mental health care for all artists. Matthew, your words were well spoken. And Alex, great fricking questions! I love Q&As.
