The vidya sthanams are 14 swamin 4 Vedas (Rugvedam, Yajurvedam, Samavedam and AdharvaNa vedam) 6 Vedangas (Shiksha, VyakaraNam, Niruktam, Chandas, Jyothisham and Kalpam) Total 10 Plus 1. Nyaya shastram 2. Meemamsa 3. Dharma shastra 4. Purana (when we say PuraNa it should be u understood as PuraNa and Ithihasa) 10 + 4 Total 14 These are called Chaturdasha Vidyaa: Adiyen Dasan Shreemathe Ramanujaya Namaha

Yes. You should practice your Puranas. Especially this: Srimad Bhagavatam 11.31.19 - 20: "Tormented by separation from the Lord, His parents gave up their lives at that very spot. My dear Parīkṣit, the wives of the Yādavas then climbed onto the funeral pyres, embracing their dead husbands. The wives of Lord Balarāma also entered the fire and embraced His body, and Vasudeva’s wives entered his fire and embraced his body. The daughters-in-law of Lord Hari entered the funeral fires of their respective husbands, headed by Pradyumna. And Rukmiṇī and the other wives of Lord Kṛṣṇa - whose hearts were completely absorbed in Him - entered His fire" And I will appreciate if you go extinct after that. Thanks 🙏

Namaskarangal Swami...Swami I am trying to follow Krishnan swamigal's english bhagavatham's series(I believe he delivered discourses while in USA)..Could some one please tell me the book ( preference Tamil or English) to follow the slokas (same order which swamigal used), I tried to search in google some of the slokas,it does not come up..please help me

"All the values that we have to follow" sounds like that includes widows austratization as well because it is in the Puranas. Seriously?
