I may have to purchase the Mystery Bag of 12 fat quarters from the Fat Quarter Shop. You seemed to have great luck with the Mystery Bags. I cannot wait for Episode #2 to see what you have been up to creating. 🤩🤩🤩

Thanks for sharing Sissy!!! Just love your style! Your double-wedding ring reminded me of my very first large quilt was a double-wedding ring. It was a Queen Plus. I quilted it on my domestic home sewing machine. Broke my back but it turned out fantastic!! Your Cuckoo Click Mill Hill is adorable!! I have several of their patterns but I'm scare of stitching on paper because I stitch in hand and I'm pretty heavy handed. I need to just do it! I'm so glad you mentioned the Madeline Quilt as I bought that pattern after I saw Elizabeth's version and I have it in a box with all my fabric ready to get started . . . BUT I'm not retired yet LOL I have 3 years 11 months 19 days 20 hours 31 minutes and 21 second as of just a moment ago, but whose counting LOL. Hugs from NE Ohio.

I love your wedding ring quilt. It's beautiful. I do embroidered quilt blocks. I have found It's best to zig zag around the outer edges of the quilt top and rinse it in cold water before you iron it to quilt it. The heat can set the transfer lines. I have had this happen, and it took several washes to get the transfer lines out.

Yeah! So glad you decided to make your first video. Already looking forward to seeing you again soon. I have purchased or given several sets of embroidered blocks. A few blocks had to be finish in a few spots. When most of those blocks were stitched DMC was the thread of choice. It was easy to find matching thread to complete the stitching on the blocks.
