I always watch your podcasts a couple of weeks late so that I’ve got one in hand to watch when I fancy a fun hour. It’s lovely that you share this interest, my late husband and I were both quilters and that was great. See you again soon!

Brilliant episode. So glad I came across you guys. Been here since no. 1 podcast and look forward to each one. Im a Kiwi living in the UK and was home visiting family earlier this year. Was in Rangiora for a month and visited both the yarn stores there. A friend took me on a yarn crawl and we visited Lisa at Unwind and Knit with me and Wild Earth Yarns. Needless to say i came home with HEAPS of NZ yarn. Roll on 2026 when I'm back! Thank you for great podcasts.

Fantastic episode loving it is released on a Sunday morning. For an alternative to the Italian bind off - there is the Alternating Cable bind off for 1x1 rib that is knitted - also an alternating cable cast on that matches and both look very similar to the tubular or Italian cast on/bind off. It also has some stretch in it. Suzanne Bryan has you tube video on it. Game changer - no more sewn bind off for me….

Love seeing your knitting and plans. I am a huge fan of Outlaw Yarns - the majority of my stash is from Deb and a couple of other small NZ dyers. I’m always…. Ohhhh I won’t knit that yarn yet bc then it will be gone. 😂

Enjoyable podcast - great to see what you have both been up to. What a journey on your vest Bebe, I seem to do a lot of frogging which is rather frustrating but usually because I have knitted the wrong size 🤦♀️ look forward to seeing your finish when that precious skein of yarn arrives🌸

I’ve been knitting for a bit and though I’ve done some color work, it really intimidates and challenges me. Seeing all of your beautiful color work knits has inspired me to try another one and keep at it until I get it right. Thanks for the nudge!

Colourwork is really daunting! I really recommend Tin Can Knits book Strange Brew, I refer to this all the time and it has some excellent patterns.

I LOVE Rebel Rapture. I've knit two Tolsta tees in it and it's so nice to wear? I've got plans for a cabled garment with it too. And I'm currently swatching for an Alder sweater in Rhapsody, which is a DK pattern, but this fabric feels lovely on 3.75mm needles. Very similar to Bohemia!

Thank you. Knitting with NZ yarn is really important to me - both in terms of supporting the local yarn industry, but also ensuring my yarn has fewer air miles! --Bebe

Thank you for another enjoyable episode. I like to sit, knit and sip, I'm swatching atm for the Pressed Flowers cardi by Amy Christophers. I too am a loose knitter, I've gone down from the recommended 3.75mm to 3mm to get gauge. I keep forgetting to use Ravelry for my queues, I have a PK (promised knits)list on my corkboard of everything I'm planning to knit for the family & myself, but often forget what yarn I have intended for it. It doesn't help that I inherited a huge 6 tub stash from a friend who passed away a couple of years ago and another chaotic mess of a stash from my mum who is 94, who has retired from knitting as her eyesight is decreasing. I have a friend who bags her next projects individually with the either the pattern name or the printed pattern and the month she plans on knitting it. She'll start knitting it in that month regardless of how many wips she's got going. Happy knitting till next time, love from the Hawkesbury, Sydney Australia

Wow all that extra yarn, what a gift - but I know what you mean about it creating chaos! I like the idea of bagging yarn with pattern - I want to start doing that. --Bebe

Enjoying your podcast. Regarding Stephens red jumper being too short. If you have more wool, cut and pickup the stitches near the bottom stocking stitch, knit extra length, then graft back together

Thank you for another most enjoyable podcast. Don't know if you would still be interested but there is a you tube video by 'Knit with Laura Nelkin' on 'Jenny's stretchy bind off' where she does it on the right side and gives you a couple of tips on how to make the bind off look a lot neater and not quite so stretchy.
