മദ്യത്തെ കുറിച്ച് താങ്കൾ പറഞ്ഞത് അക്ഷരം പ്രതി ശരിയാണ്. ഞാനും ഒരു ഫാത്തിമാ കോളേജ് പൂർവ്വവിദ്യാർഥിയാണ്, മദ്യപാനം കോളേജ് ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഒരുപാട് ദുരനുഭവങ്ങൾ തന്നിട്ടുണ്ട്. രാവിലെ രണ്ടെണ്ണം അടിച്ചിട്ടല്ലാതെ കോളേജിൽ കയറുകയില്ലായിരുന്നു.. താങ്കളുടെ ഈ എപ്പിസോഡ് എന്നെ ആ ഭൂതകാലത്തിലേക്ക് കൊണ്ടുപോയി. ഇന്നും മദ്യപാനം നിർത്തിയിട്ടൊന്നുമില്ല, താങ്കൾ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ കുപ്പിയുടെ കഴുത്തിൽ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ടു വല്ലപ്പോഴും മാത്രം . പഴയ ക്ലാസ്സ്‌മേറ്റുകളുമായി ഗ്ളാസ്സ്മേറ്റുകൾ ആകുമ്പോൾ. ഹാറ്റ്സ്ഓഫ് sir

A very good message for the people of Kerala, especially for the younger generation who are of late,misusing alcohol to a great extent .....and to a society which now believe that a function is incomplete if alcohol is not served. During the first party on board my first ship when I was a teen aged cadet officer , my captain offered me a bottle of Orange boom beer and his words still echoes in my ears . He said “ Son, you can have this drink as long as you know the difference between “use “ and “ misuse “. If not...don’t even think about touching it.

"പ്രശ്നം കുരുതരo" ആയി പോയി എന്റെ ജീവിതം. മദ്യം ഒരാളെയും ധനവാൻ ആക്കിയിട്ടില്ല. മധ്യ വില്പനക്കാരൻ ധനവാൻ ആയി. പലപ്പോഴും സുഹൃത്തുക്കൾ ക്ക് ഒപ്പം മദ്യപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരാൾക്ക് കുഞ്ഞിന് മരുന്ന്വാങ്ങുവാൻ പണമില്ലാതിരുന്ന സമയം സുഹൃത്തിനോട് അല്പം പണം ആവശപെട്ടു. അയാൾ പറയുന്നു പണമില്ല നീ വേണമെങ്കിൽ 2ബാഗ് കഴിച്ചുപൊക്കൊളു. 45വർഷം മുൻപ് സ്പ്രിന്റ് എന്ന കോള വാങ്ങി കഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ട് നാടക0 അഭിനയിച്ചു നടന്ന ഞാൻ പിന്നീട് ബിയർ, സ്മാൾ, ബഗ്, കുപ്പി,... ഇന്ന് 27വർഷം പിന്നിട്ടു മദ്യവും, പുകവലിയും നിർത്തിയിട്ട്. മേനോൻ സാറിന്റെ ഇന്നത്തെ വീഡിയോ എന്റെ കഴിഞ്ഞകാലത്തെ ജീവിതം ഒന്ന് ഓർമ്മപെടുത്തി.
