And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour. 28:42 Your mom’s statement, "This whole generation is doomed because they think getting yelled at is abusive", really stood out to me. From where I sit, yelling is abusive. Imagine if someone were to yell at her, she likely wouldn’t tolerate it, and neither would anyone else. No one deserves to be treated that way. We all have a choice in how we treat the people around us. Do we want to treat them like royalty, with kindness and respect, or like we're living in a chaotic episode of Dr. Phil? The way we choose to speak to and care for others defines the environment we create.
@feederdiaries48623 ай бұрын
What is abusive is you repressing people from using their voices when they genuinely need to express something. ABUSERS sit there and blame the victim for being upset. (Anderson should step down though)

@Krullerized3 ай бұрын
@@feederdiaries4862 You can talk without yelling. No yelling doesn't mean silencing. It's a fallacy. Seriously there's no need to yell to communicate. It's actually better not to yell if you truly want to get your point accross. I'm not looking to silence. I'm looking to empower. A yelling match it's empowering, it's immature. That's what unruly children do. And when an adult does it? Yeah it gives off that strong "I'm not in control of myself" vibe. An adult is responsible for managing their emotions. And when they don't, it creates chaos. We may not be responsible for what happens to us, but the way we react is entirely our responsibility.
@feederdiaries48623 ай бұрын
@@Krullerized the Bible talks about people "crying out" which means raising their voices, sometimes to communicate with others about something they're upset about, sometimes just to release an emotion by themselves or to God. The act of raising one's voice does not mean somebody is out of control, that is something u were taught and you are choosing to believe. That doesn't mean yelling is always right. If you are humble, you can accept being yelled at at times when you have really upset somebody and just move on. If you are not very humble, you can continue to believe you could never deserve such a thing.

As the ED of a DVSA Agency, it is our practice to look at the abuse and look at whose life is made smaller by the abuse. In this case while the mother is suffering abuse, the children are the ones whose lives were made smaller. We always advocate for keeping the children with the protective parent. However, a protective parent is something these children have never had. I can only hope that they have been removed and placed in the loving care family that does not practice the same kind of religion as Anderson and his wife.

I watched a vlog by Zsuzsanna a few yrs ago. I could hear a young child in the background babbling like little kids do who can’t talk yet. She interrupted the video to say she had to discipline her child. I think they were supposed to be napping. The hitting came thru loud & clear. Idk if she used her hands or an object. The child was completely silent after that. Usually kids cry. I thought “what in the world did she do to a child that young to make them immediately silent?” Did she knock the kid out? What? It is scary. I believe what these kids say. If you are going to dismiss it you are part of the problem. Look at him from the pulpit. You don’t think this little man has a Napoleon complex? He’s angry. He makes enemies everywhere he goes. She isn’t one to mix w the other women like other preacher wives. This has been a while ago too but when I first looked at his resume it said was he had memorized the NT & most of the OT. What kind of resume is that?! What happens in the dark always comes to the light. It their time. I’m so glad.
