To me, it’s never been about the allegations. Steven Anderson has exposed who he really is by 1) acting like he’s suddenly interested in Miriam’s whereabouts, when the truth is she’s been gone a very long time. He only started feigning “concern” to protect himself when she exposed him. 2) In his posts, he’s not concerned at all about Miriam’s well-being, it’s all about getting back at his brother. This shows at least three things: 1) Steven has either very shallow or no emotions about anyone. 2) Steven is a manipulator, only looking out for himself. 3) Steven can’t maintain relationships with anyone. We’ve seen it over the years with all the fallouts he’s had. He’s always the common denominator; yet people keep giving him a pass him because he’s convinced them into thinking he’s passionate about the Lord or whatever, failing to realize that those are just emotional strategies he uses to get what he wants from them: loyalty (blind trust) and a job. One of the least sincere people I’ve ever seen, and people keep buying it.

@@NathanDFoust-john146 When you use terms like "such massive aggression..." and things like "but yelling, screaming...." etc doesn't tell me anything because these things are subjective and defined differently by different people. Telling me he has unwarranted hate for the homosexual community again tells me nothing because that comes straight from the Bible and he's a preacher of the Bible, so that's why I'm trying to ascertain what exactly makes him hateful. My takeaway from SA's sisters' testimonies: Sister 1: I've seen them happy in my presence. They didn't abuse kids in front of me. Zsuzsa acted nice to Miriam in my presence on vacation. Sister 2: Steve lied about how it went down in South Carolina. Testimony of what someone didn't see happen in front of them as evidence of nothing ever happening out of their view definitely does not supercede other eyewitness testimony of stuff happening. I mean really... No crap she didn't act like a maniac and abuse the heck out of them in front of you. 🙄 Anderson lied and put his spin on events to make it sound as malicious as he possibly could simply to cater to his worshippers so they can feel justified in their feelings and maybe convince them to hunt her down for him. That's all. Simple. Par par par. Same tactics he's used against brethren EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

[29] For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: [30] For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. *** If your wife is super annoying- tough- you married her.... here is another suggestion FROM GOD Proverbs 21:9 KJV It is better to dwell in a corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman in a wide house. He says this twice: Proverbs 25:24 KJV It is better to dwell in the corner of the housetop, than with a brawling woman and in a wide house. I can't find a place where a woman is supposed to be beaten. Instead it's better to just go live on your roof top. Make a better choice before you're married. Here us another example from JESUS... (And I'm sure Zsu wasn't a A WHORE)... John 8:7 KJV So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

@rhavenlynn5364 Obviously, I talking about them discussing it now in the house as adults and John being dismissed, Isaac and Solomon being dismissed, Miriam not being taken seriously. No man (or woman) is given carte blanche to do whatever they want. Everyone is accountable to someone and we all (despite what one may believe) are accountable to God. We have a myriad of leaders that have became tyrants through the ages for allowing their authority to be unchecked, because of fear of consequences. I hear many of these pastors condoning a type of authority that is unquestioned. With sinful man that cannot work in almost all scenarios. What a wonderful, thoughtful, honest young man. I've watched dozens if not hundreds of your father's sermons, but I can't even stomach to watch 10 seconds of him since this began. Either his preaching or his denials and attacks on your uncle and you and your siblings. I'm just completely done with him and any of the other sycophants that are denying and excusing his and his wife's behavior. I want to thank you for this interview in particular because you touched on many of the issues that those of us that previously learned about the Bible from him were dealing with as well. It's hard to separate the (as you said) educated man who did indeed espouse Biblical truths from the man who ran his household as liar and torturer of children that it's now painfully apparent he is. Myself am doing a lot of introspection. Perhaps he had been so good at explaining the Bible historically and doctrinally that I became lazy and was content to outsource much of my research and learning about God to him because "after all he knows what he's talking about on xyz so he's probably right about abc too". Either way that's my own problem to work through, and pales in comparison to what you and your family has been put through. At the end of the day your dad is a turd. All his pastor hangerons have shown themselves to be turds. And anyone still following or supporting him has done the same. That's all there is to it. The world is full of turds left and right. But it's also full of good people, and I prefer to seek out their company. I hope you find an abundance of the latter, and keep your faith in God and kindness and mercy strong. God bless you, and your brothers and sisters.

David and Absalom, one of my fav sermons from your Dad. David had a choice to make amends with Absalom when Absalom went to Geshur. David's soul longed for Absalom, but it was Joab that realized this and went to get Absalom. In all hope, the older should be wiser and more mature than the younger. If David had done what was right with Amnon and done what was loving with Absalom who knows what would've happened. David had choices, he lamented in his house. After Absalom died and David mourned, I always well up at that passage. Fathers have a choice. They tend to regret making the wrong one.

It's pretty obvious what is going to happen now, for the most part. Miriam will probably never return to her parents because no judge or police officer with an ounce of conscience would force her to return to an environment she is scared to death of. And John is right, Pastor Anderson will not be stepping down. Pastor Anderson was pretty quiet online for a little while at first, but the reason he has basically gone crazy online, with the video, the insane memes he's making is because he now knows he still has substantial support, although it has dropped a fair bit. There are a good number of people who actually believe him still so he and Mrs. Anderson feel emboldened. The Anderson family dynamic will probably forever be parents vs siblings, at least the ones who have moved out. Hopefully they treat the younger ones still in their home much better. So honestly, probably not much change. But this is really going to put the independence of "New independent fundamental Baptist" churches to the test and to see if this movement was based on the Word of God, or Steven Anderson. I still like to believe the former. I say this as someone who was saved by Pastor Anderson's preaching and learned so much from him. I will still be always grateful for that. But these kids are not lying. They can't be. The million dollar question: if these kids had such a great relationship with their parents, which is what the parents, at least Steven Anderson claims, then why would, not just one, not just two, but three, and now maybe even four(?), come out and publicly declare them abusive monsters? There is no answer to that question that makes any sense besides the fact that these kids are telling the truth and Steven Anderson is lying.

How is it good? This is a pattern. People use PSA to get followers, then with a "scandal" or a controversy like someone going into heresy, drop him like a stone; only to be proven wrong. Then they never admit guilt but go off into weirdness. I've loved PSA's sermons for 10 years now and this is how it goes every single time. Also Jared Pozarnsky (relatively new Pastor ordained by Pastor Jimenez who supports PSA), Salvador Alvarez (only ordained a few weeks ago, smells like inexperienced at best or church takeover at worst), creationist Matt Powell (who was called out at a RHPC before, also used PSA, but is so far up heretic Kent Hovind's arse it's sick), Pastor McMurtry (a tried, tested and proven snake of note who supported a criminal who committed business identity theft of a church). I'm old and experienced enough to see the pattern and still stand with PSA. I see the same people turning on him never criticise Pastor Jack Hyles, Aaron, Samuel... it is possible to rule well your own house yet the kids turn out bad.

Are You Saved? Have you received what Jesus Christ did for you? This question should receive a “Yes” or “No” answer, but it almost never does. Some of the most common responses are: I’m doing the best I can. I prayed the sinner’s prayer. I’ve made Jesus the Lord of my life. I believe in God. I’ve been baptized. I’m a church member. I keep the commandments. I am basically a good person. I walked the aisle and prayed through. I’ve always been a Christian. I’ve never done anything really bad. None of these responses properly answer the question. People give these kinds of responses because they evidently do not understand the question. The question, “Are you saved?” asks whether or not you have trusted Christ’s shed blood on the cross as payment for your sins. It is not asking about any works that you can do. The responses listed above refer to what a person does, but salvation is only offered on the basis of what Christ has already done for us. The gospel of our salvation (Eph. 1:13) is clearly stated by the apostle Paul: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. (1 Cor. 15:3-4) The blood of Christ has purchased what we could not earn ourselves. In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: (Col. 1:14) We cannot be good enough to earn salvation because “there is none righteous” (Rom. 3:10) and “all have sinned” (Rom. 3:23). The “wages of sin is death” (Rom. 6:23). Those who die lost will spend eternity in “the lake of fire” (Rev. 20:15). In order to be saved, we must stop trusting ourselves and trust the blood payment that Christ has already made on our behalf! 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. (Eph. 2:8-9) Jesus Christ fully accomplished our salvation through His death, burial, and resurrection. Therefore, the free gift of salvation can only be received by faith alone in His finished work. It is Christ's righteousness not ours. "To declare, I day, at this time HIS (Christ) righteousness: that HE might be the just and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus" Rom 3:26 NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to HIS MERCY He saved us (Titus 3:5) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (Rom. 5:1) "IN whom we HAVE redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS GRACE" Eph 1:7 If you will trust Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you will receive peace with God, justification, forgiveness, eternal life in the heavenly places. You can enjoy “much assurance” (1 Thess. 1:5) that you are saved and on your way to heaven because (Eph 1:13-14) In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise. Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. Jesus accomplished the work involved for your salvation, by faith rest in HIS finished work.

The Absalom analogy is a strange one to invoke against John and serves only to make Steven Anderson's position worse. The rebellion of David's house was a judgement meted out by God against David for his sins. If Steven and his devotees want to invoke this analogy then they must also accept that Steven is not right with God and therefore God is bringing judgement against him. And I have a feeling that as more of the Anderson kids come of age, we will hear their peace/side of the story as well. I believe this is far from over.

I’ll just put this out there if Ravi Zacharias and countless Catholic priests can cover up wrong doing for years hell even recently with P.Diddy people should be paying more attention to stories like this. I remember years ago the story ( Turpin family) of 13 children who suffered extreme abuse until the one girl got free and was able to track down the police and get help. it baffles me that cases like this don’t receive the needed attention to put people like Mr. Anderson away. I don’t know how this will end but brother you’re an amazing man and I love you and respect the fuck out of you.

*semi-retirement. You were never far away. Some might even say you were busier than ever. I'm sorry you went through all of that.

Actually many comments are supporting you, your brother and sister. Steven Anderson has made a response video but it doesn’t stand up to scrutiny.
