In Episode 10 of MiamiRealEstate.TV, the sky's the limit as Lucas gets a sneak-peek of the soon-to-be-opened sales gallery for the highly anticipated Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami. At a cost of $12 million, it is the most visually stunning and technology-packed sales center ever seen in Miami. Rising 100 stories and 1,049 feet tall, Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami will be Miami's tallest building AND first supertall skyscraper. Designed by world-renowned architect Carlos Ott, the tower is comprised of 9 stacked, offset cubes. The first 3 cubes of the skyscraper contain the hotel, hotel rooms, suites, and building amenities; Cubes 4 through 8, the non-penthouse residences; and Cube 9, the massive penthouse residences which are open to customization.
At the sales gallery, Lucas meets up with Daiana Quiceno, VP of Sales of the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, who provides a very detailed overview of the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami, showcases the state-of-the-art technology which allows prospective buyers to see their views from various floors throughout the 100-story skyscraper, and then gives a tour of a full-scale, three-bedroom residence. What makes the technology so special is that the views are full-motion videos, not images. From within the full-scale model unit, prospective buyers can see their views, not only at various points of the day (sunrise, rain, and sunset) but with motion with boats and cars going by. As if that weren't enough, the videos include proposed projects, such as the $802 million Signature Bridge and Marriott Marquis Miami Worldcenter, which are both expected to be completed by the time Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami is delivered (end of 2025).
Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami will be comprised of ground-floor retail; 360 condo residences; and a 205-key, 5-star hotel operated by Waldorf Astoria. The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami is NOT a condo-hotel development. The hotel and residences will be completely separate. As such, there will NOT be a hotel program.
As Daiana points out to Lucas in the full-scale model unit, the residences at the Waldorf Astoria Miami will be delivered FULLY finished (including all closets) with buyer's choice of stone countertops and flooring. Additionally, the residences will feature 10-foot-high ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows, best-in-class kitchen appliances by Wolf and Sub-Zero; TOTO toilets; Dornbracht and Duravit bathroom fixtures, and the latest "smart building" technology.
Prices of the residences at the Waldorf Astoria Residences Miami are expected to average around $1,500 per square foot with the penthouse residences expected to top $3,000 per square foot.
The developer is going straight to contract. For those interested in purchasing a residence at the Waldorf Astoria Miami, the following is the payment structure:
- 10% at contract (now)
- 10% six months from contract (approximately November 2021)
- 10% at the start of construction (approximately March 2022)
- 10% a year from the start of construction (approximately March 2023)
- 60% at closing

Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences Miami will be an all-valet building. The maintenance dues are estimated to be $1.00 per square foot. Condo owners will be permitted to lease their residence up to three (3) times per year at a minimum of three (3) months.

Hi, I heard you say the studios are fully furnished. Are the 3 BRs furnished or customizable?

If it’s 1040 ft the 100 floors must have low ceilings unless the floor count is not true

Sure thing, folks. can' think of a better place than Miami to built a 100 story condo. I look forward TO IT JUTTING OUT OF HE BAY WHEN the sea level rises.....maybe that's why you want it to tall -- so it won't show....it's gonna take a while == but boy oh boy....I want to vomit.

Never said Miami Land is cheap- tho u gotta keep dredging to even have the official little strip called MIAMi Beach- I grew up in St Pete so East Coast is anathema to me- but it’s big and getting bigger- good luck

That's why the probably got the land so cheap. This is disgusting. Slung up in a multimillion condo scheme in Downtown Miami -- they'll be sorely disappointed until they push a button and change the view.......

@@jgwire The land in Miami is not cheap LOL. Developers flock to build highrises in downtown Miami. Condos are a hot market in Miami. The burbs can stay in their own lane.
