Hey since it was brought up in the episode, for anyone who plays D&D and has plastic minis with bent parts like those giant axes, you can actually fix them really easily. WITH SCIENCE! All you need is a stove top, a pot, and a container of ice-cold water (with ice-cubes if you want). In layman's terms, plastic molds have something called "mold memory". When the liquid plastic is hardened, the molecules are set in a specific position. Though they can get stretched, heating them will cause them to snap back to their original position. SO: In the pot, heat some water to just BELOW a boil. (If it starts to boil, just turn it off for a moment until it stops). Then (VERY CAREFULLY) dip the entire bent section of the mini into the extremely hot water. Almost instanly (depending on how thick the bent part) you should physically see the part bending itself back into position under the water. Give it a few more seconds for good measure, then remove the mini and immediately place it into the ice-cold water to lock it into its proper place. Seriously, if you don't believe me, try it first with a small mini you don't care about. It's the best thing since sliced bread.

Whoever, bro. Whom is objective case, and so is whomever. Whoever thought that up gets an inspiration. You might think, ah but "to" is a preposition, and pronouns can be objects of prepositions! Technically correct, young one. But "whoever thought that up" is the complete noun phrase that functions as the object of the preposition, not the pronoun by itself. Thus, whoever is still correct in every sense. Don't try to sound cool by using "whom"; you'll probably just use it wrong.

Yeah, like when Binwin kept channeling the wind and kept his rage up despite not having attacked anything for 2 turns? Also, can you please explain to me why he (Binwin) is dealing maximum damage, in addition to the extra die, when he crits? As far as I remember, in 5e you just double your damage dice when you crit (aside from Barbs getting an extra die, etc.).

even if they make mistakes, the point is to have fun, and game continuity. the smoother the flow of action. the happier the audiance. that is why they do not use a rules attorney on the side lines.otherwise dnd becomes pathfinder and we all suffer,the golden rule is if its complecated, or robs the game of fun. throw it out or modify it.

Wow there are a bunch of really technical questions asked here in the comments section. In my humble attempt to answer I will simply say this, "D&D is played differently table to table. It has always been this way since the early the early 70's. The focus of the game is for the DM & the players to use their imagination, come together as a group and have fun." So if they do not follow a rule as it is written in the book, or if they do not play as you do, it is OK. I want to say thank you to Penny Arcade, the folks @ WOTC, & the greatest DM in world Mr. Perkins for their hard work, and time it takes to put this together. I also want to say thank you to all of the production crew & camera folks that work tirelessly to make the quality great. I know it is not said enough in this world today, Thank you. You all are appreciated.

I am playing DnD for the first time in the last week. I took my inspiration from the team at AI... you guys are amazing and so much fun to watch. I am too a bard and hope to further into a rogue and cleric at some point with other characters. I love watching how to do things and when to make rolls. Hey at around minute 31, Binwin give the DM advantage when he is raging, however it did not look like Binwin rolled with advantage indicating reckless assault which is the only reason the DM would have advantage on Binwin. Side note what levels are the characters? Finally, I would like to have links in the description to the drawings that happen during the games. or at least have the camera focus on them for a couple seconds.

FYI Jim the giant was in your control since perci suggested to the giant to do as you said. As for the lightning bit I would have said "picachu thunder" for the comical relief. Viari you should be doing more bardic songs for boosting your groups power, my on personal opinion of course. And there was a lot of attacks of op on multiple of all on the map.

Jim's just using his magic weirdly. And the forgetting of the extra D10 on firebolt (which he definetely has) The fight could have gona a LOT better if he would just have transformed Binwin into a T-rex, I can't imagien Binwin not liking that :p

Well to be fair it's the player job to remember what is character can do since the DM can't remember everything.

The problem with polymorph (not True polymorph, just polymorph) is that it also replaces the targets mental ability scores (INT, WIS and CHA). And I wouldn't say an Intelligence of 2 is enough to discern between friends and foes. But I guess you could set Binwin loose on a group of enemies, polymorph him, and then end the spell when he's killed them all :D

How did Chris not know the duel weilding rules. Binwin gets 3 attacks, not 5. Also you only get one action surge per short or long rest. They didn't rest and he used it before they got to last fight.

It would have been amazing if while Binwin had the wand pushing the wind, Jim Darkmagic could have ran in to the wind and swapped places with the stone chair the giant threw, causing it to be redirected towards the other giant(s) / Orcs possibly crushing them. Would have been EPIC!
