Dear madam i have little confusion please help me out .after how many weeks of womans pregnancy is considered into parity becoz some books is given after 20th week and in some books after 28 th weeks .i am confused please help me in this case.thankyou dear madam have a nice day

The standard protocol is 20 weeks. Before that is abortion and after that is parity. The same definition is used for Jsy payments too. Hope this helps

Pregnant 2nd time and 3 living children means she had triplets in the 1st pregnancy. G is always P+A+1. Nothing to do with living children

What if in case the previous delivery was normal (without any complications) and the baby was healthy lived for a year and died in an accident , without any medical pathology , and then a year after that she was pregnant again and came for her ANC registration, how should the 'L' be written? .. .. .. (G2P1L0A0 ...?)

Your answer is correct. L indicates living children. Since the no of living children in this case is 0 and she is pregnant again with her second child, she will be G2P1L0 A0 . Well done 👍🏻. You understood my classes well 😀👏🏻

The MTP upto 24 weeks would be a rare phenomenon. So as of now, the definition of GPLA would mean abortion upto 20 weeks, spontaneous or induced. In rare cases if it is a MTP done upto 24 weeks, it may be clearly mentioned in the obstetrics history
