I just watched this video for the 1st time, and don't know how I skipped it a year ago. My power steering idle air control valve failed, and high pressure steering fluid was being vacuumed into the intake manifold (!!!) causing lots of smoke, and loss of power steering. I'm in the process of replacing this valve this weekend after finally removing the PS pulley. I hope I don't have to remove the pump to get access to the valve. ...but mostly I don't want to remove the banjo fitting from the pump...

I cleaned my PS pulley, but I did not re-paint it and hang it up hi to dry. ...but mostly I have not hit my head on it (yet). :*D

Did you manage to get the valve out? I found it hard to work on the PS pump in situ. Hard to get a spanner on anything and even harder to turn it a few degrees.
