First time I heard about Barstool I was a Freshman at Northeastern and the KO Barstool movement was right outside my freshman dorm “protesting”. I hear the commotion but don’t think anything of it. I walk outside to go to the dining hall, and I see the guy they’re picketing about (Prez) standing face to face with the KO Barstool leader demanding the microphone to say his part. Remember thinking “Ya gotta respect that move. Nice to see someone stand up to this sort of BS face-to-face”. In the weeks that followed I discovered all the reasons people love Barstool for myself, and now I’m 8-year deep stoolie headed to the moon. Viva la stool, go Prez go, and don’t ever change. Also, Lurch was my lacrosse coach at NU. Glad to hear Barstool is paying him - he deserves it.
